Everyone still want their party in Europe while we get relegated?

We are now a game behind, 9 points of the top of the league and have a big injury list.

Put the clubs interest before the fans and get out of the Europa league.

What would you prefer?

I think if we qualify for the group stage, which looks likely as Nacional looked pretty pants on thursday, the Europa games will obviously knacker our small squad - as seen today.

So that could make us relegation candidates.

However I think if we concentrated wholly on the league we could still finish mid-table.

Thoughts?

I'm starting to agree with this, the squad is too small for us to play the group stages and get into playoffs or top 2. plus the way it's looking we need to get stable in the champ... Because if we got promoted this season, we would be straight back down.

If we got promoted this season, money would go into debts, and no good players would be bought, and we would not survive...

So we need to get comfortable for a season or two in the champ...

That's my thoughts at the moment.

We have not got a bad team, we just do not score goals. Despite all the attacking play we aren't taking our chances which IMO is worrying. If Jerome, King and Zigic stay and get fit, they will fire us to the top half. If they don't, then Europa League or not we will really struggle unless Rooney scores 20 a season or Fahey or Mutch take over the Gardner goalscoring role

hopefully we can resolve the Dann, Jerome,Zigic situation, and bring in 4 or 5 players before the window shuts.

Then i'll say how i think we will do.

We have struggled with strikers for so long now... It's such bad luck that we have 3 pretty good strikers injured, and also the surrounds around jerome and zigics injuries, no one really knows what's going on if they are staying or going. We need our strikers on the pitch

how long have we waited for a taste of European football? let's have as much fun in Europe and earn as much from it as we can... as others have said, if we can sell Dann and Zigic then that will ease much of the pressure on finances (surely).

then perhaps Jerome and King could bang on a few goals to help us on our way... although, we desperately need a couple more midfielders and a defender too.

We wont go down whether we go through on Thursday, out on Thursday, or all the way to the Europa Final in Budapest IMO.

Midtable is where we'll finish so why not make the most of this European adventure if we get through, its certainly not gonna happen again for us for a long long long time with the joke of a board we have.

So you think we have the squad to play 60 games this season?

And do well (mid-table) in all of them?

Sorry BUT some fans want Europa football. Even if we were NOT in Europe we would'nt do any better due to a small team, so lets enjoy Europa footie because we an't going to enjoy the Championship.

There are easily 3 clubs worse than us in this division.

Yes we have an injury list, but players arent injured forever. We will also sign people before the deadline, and loans afterwards.

Pull out of Europe? It'll be the only time most of us get to see Blues in Europe in our lifetime.

Reading the table this early? Villa and Wolves should be consolidating their Champions League prospects and Spurs are in for a long relegation battle then

we have played 3 games, and lost only to teams who are 2nd and 3rd atm
teams like doncaster, watford, coventry and barnsley arent better than us and imo wont finish above us. Europe will only stop us from getting in/near the play offs which imo we arent good enough for anyway. lets just enjoy europe, hope the players get some experience from it and try looking at going up in a couple of years

So we have waited 50 years to be in Europe again and some fans want us out so we can concentrate on the league. The neutrals out there will think this proves the perception that "Brummies are thick".
