Is not the loss in itself but the manner of the defeat. Under eck you can count on one hand the amount of times we went ahead and lost. Under ch we have dome so two away league games in a row. That's disappointing.

take foster, johnson and dann out of any back four and it will have a big inpact, not to mention fergusonwho can keep the ball away from their forwards

True, however being mire expansive, while being better to watch, also has a hand in it

If by that you mean completely dominate Derby but fail to take our chances then you are 100% right. And the whole team was shattered against Boro, yet it was still better than Alex McLeish managed against Fulham

Well thank heavens we're no longer playing the following formation

-----------------GK--------------------
-----X------X----------X------X-------
--X------X-------X--------X-------X--
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------

----------------JEROME---------------

Next game we may even win a game rather than draw 0-0! :o

I thought we took the lead and then lost it quite a few times under AM?

You know what, were Dann and Johnson really all that? The past 2 seasons we have had two great goal keepers and boy have we needed them. I believe Harte and Foster faced the most shots than any other keeper in the league in both their seasons here. So our defence was never really all it was cracked up to be.

Take away the keepers and our 9th season where we didn't win by more than 1 goal would have been awful and take out Foster last year we'd have been a bigger shower than West Ham.

Just another way of looking at it.

Just testing people.

My points were marvellous nonetheless. Johnson and Dann were not as great as we have lead ourselves to believe. Johnson in particular, just look at that orange kit he's found himself playing in.

Under McRelegation we rarely were adventurous enough to take a lead.

Whats a lead? Isn't it one of those things you take your dogs on walks with? Being a Blues fan I dont know any other meaning..

Cue a stat coming next season "If only the first half of games counted, Birmingham would have won the league by 12 points"

The way I see it, every loss is a game that has to be won come the end of the season. So it would be time to get on a winning streak early and not muck about. Lots of hungry teams looking to go up. Is Blues up for the challenge? The answer to that...same bat-time, same bat-channel.

It didn't take long for the first 'things were better under McLeish' thread to appear, did it? Every day I thank the good Lord that that imbecile has found his way through the sewer system to Villa Park. Jesus, nostalgia isn't what it used to be, innit?

Yes dissapointing but until the side settles and Hughton know's who exactly he has available in the squad it's very early in the season Jesus we have only played 3 games.

Hughton AINT a miracle worker he has NO transfer fund's and has to rely on Bosman's so we shall have to see what happen's in the next few week's.

I cant believe how many people are turning into doom mongers on here, apparently the prebervial has hit the fan after only 3 games. Jebus god help us after 20 games everyone will be jumping off bridges if the last 3 games are anything to go by.

As the CPH said a lot of the goals were unlucky. Also CH needs time to gell the team and still look for people to fill the small team that we have as its not enugh atm

I'm not turning into a doom mongerer, mearly making an observation.

Another of which, on a positive note which you sensitive souls will be glad to know, is that I can see is earning a lot more free kicks in dangerous areas and pens as we are playing in and around the opponents area more
