Hi all!! I'm not trying to be lazy, i'm just being a bit of a google numpty!

I've booked my flights from London to Porto first thing on the Wednesday morning of the game and i'm booked to come back first thing the following morning (all night celebration hopefully!)

I'm just wondering how easy it will be to get from Porto to Braga? It says 38 minutes on google maps by car so i'm guessing there'll be buses or trains?

Anyone looked into it? THANKS!!

No worries, classic case of asking the question too early! 2 euros on the metro to Campana and then another 3 euros straight from the airport to Braga! lovely jubbly!

Looking forward to 30th November, you'll be very welcome in our city.
First, let me help you with what I can about the flights. I guess most of you are flying to Porto. Don't worry about Porto-Braga, there will be plenty of trains. They cost about 2€ and take one hour. Consider the option of flying to Vigo has it must be cheaper and it's not that farther.
Foreign fans usually hang at Avenida Central, enjoyable place, with lots of beer (we have the best beer in the world, and it's really cheap compared to England)

Concerning the match, I confess I don't know much about your team this season because in Portugal they only air premier league matches. We're in 5th in our league, it's been an irregular season, but it seems we're improving the quality of our football in the last games. You'll notice some outstanding players like Hugo Viana (has already played fr Newcastle) great pass quality portuguese middfielder or Alan a brazilian forward.
Feel free to ask for any information...
Best of luck getting back to premier league! ;D

Also, just take a look at our stadium. It's absolutely unique and has won a lot of architechture prizes. 30.000 seats. It's built in a quarry and has no seats behind the goals. I'm just gonna leave you the pic:

Hi and thanks for dropping by.

Was nice of your lot who made the trip to Brum to applaud us bluenoses singing and I have to say Braga gave a lesson in football that night. I just hope we may be able to nick a point at yours.

Thanks for the heads up on where to head for. Justone question how far is it from there to the ground?

easiest way is by cab, like we did when Bruges played them, but be prepared, not a lot of cabs available in Braga,so waiting times can go up to 15-20 min before you find a free cab....and Bruges had about 1000 fans overthere, guess you guys will go over with a few thousands...

I believe that there is a BUS that departs from a nearby square. You can also walk, which will take you about half an hour, maybe 45 minutes, to get to the stadium. Braga isn't famous for its public transports, but the traffic is not chaotic.

Thank you very much for all the info, and welcome to our forum, there are 7 of us flying in from Gatwick to porto on the Wednesday, now we do not land until approx 15:45 local time, so do you think we will have enough time to get to Braga, check in at hotel Basic axis and get to ground for kick off time,..oh and getting a beer or 2 down our necks :lager: ?
