Did anybody else notice what happened to our skipper at the final whistle ?

He headed straight down the tunnel head bowed obviously absolutely cheesed off with the fact that we didnt see off the Posh. Nice to see the passion and commitment but methinks he should have stayed around and shook a few hands.

He cut a lonely figure heading off for the corner all on his own

I'd rather him be frustrated and angry that we hadn't won than be shaking the oppositions hands to be honest.

I'd be more concerned if he didn't seem bothered and was running round laughing and smiling and shaking the opposing teams players (just like Hleb did after the Arsenal game) hands straight after the game. Would rather have him in the dressing room giving the players a rocket and telling them they need to do better.

Same with Torres vs Liverpool on Sunday.

Couldn't believe he was all smiley and shaking hands and having a chat with all the Liverpool players after they'd just been beaten at home!

Modern day footballer I guess.

Perhaps he wanted to go to the loo, man ?

We seem to be knee deep in body-language and physcological-profilers on this forum.

The only common denominator seems to be to have a pop at at Blues' player.

Read the post again ELVIS man, I was hardly having a pop at the man who has been our best player for more seasons than I care to remember and is a role model to our young pros

Get a grip or go back to Graceland man

Another fantastic performance last night from our skipper.
Him & Murph are two of the best in this division that is for sure.

He was awesome last night. Some great tackles and some great link up play with Burke. His experience and ability really shone through, and his energy levels are amazing for someone who realistically could be expected to be on his last legs at this stage of his career. Still looks like he has got a couple of years left in him at this rate!
