Here are a few reasons

(1) it's a Tuesday night
(2) not everyone can afford every game
(3) some people do not like being in the cold
(4) kids (5-16) will not go to night matches because of education however I go to the Europe ones and im 14

Can you ever make it bill?

They are the hardcore fans and fair play to them. The players will get equal, if not more support with that 16k there.

Suppose as it's near the Christmas and with the vast amount of games coming up to pick and choose from.

Blues seriously need to start advertising and marketing externally outside the current fanbase, we need some new bums on seats. A lot of people in Birmingham wouldn't have a clue that there's even a match on.

Blues avg. about 18,500, so for a Tuesday night against a side hovering above the relegation places, it's not too bad.

Coventry avg. just over 15,000, but could only muster 12,317 to watch their side go up against a club 3rd in the league.

Whatever's available for a whinge will work for some though i guess. **thumbup

£27 Sat + £18 Tonight + Xmas Soon = Its too much money

Where have the deals gone? Kids for a quid, bring a mate for £5. And i'm sure i saw this advertised for £25 for the two on the big screen the other night. But when i looked on-line theres no mention?? I agree with the other poster, we need to get a lot more inventive with the deals and the marketing.
The footballs now good and entertaining, lets help get as many fans in to see it!

I was there but to be honest I dont blame people for not going. It was bloody cold and for large periods of the game the players looked like they wanted to be elsewhere as well. Still great result though :-)

The deal was.available from the ticket office and online as I got my ticket with it. However it was poorly advertised. Normally I wouldn't go to a weeknight match as I have an early start for work and as previously mentioned it was cold and a bit dull if I am honest for long periods but still great result.

The fact is they could spend a few grand on advertising, and get a few people in that covers that cost. They might not make any money out of it, but in the long run they would because hopefully some of these new people might come again.

Let's be honest the football is @@@@.

Whatever the other legitimate reasons for not being there if we were playing exciting free scoring, fast flowing football and whipping the opposition with a realistic chance of going up and the prospect of exciting signings in a few weeks I can categorically assure you there would be a lot more people there.

However, we are a debt ridden club where the loyal supporters have no idea what is going on or where the club is going with hard working but average at best players many of whom clearly don't want to be here (and probably won't be come January) playing some dire football against poor opposition.

We're in a recession, the weather's @@@@ and my missus is going through "the change"!

Merry @@@@@@@ Christmas!

is this the wind up post of the day or the week or the month or the year

the football is better than anything ive witnessed for many many years, the crowd is poor and the atmosphere is worse than under the Alex McLeish..why i ve absolutely no idea and couldnt really care beacuse if the attendance was only 2 people and that is me and my old man sat watching the blues thats enough for me.Anyone who doesnt want to go..dont go..anyone who goes and wishes they hadnt should have stayed at home.I get the impression most people dont actually want to watch the blues they are only interested in who they are playing against.

Bored of Blues Fans and excuses and moans about everything and anything

They'll all be back queuing up for their play off final tickets come May, they were also the same people who begged on here for people to help them out with Wembley and Bruges tickets.

The McLeish Aftermath.

Three of my lot have not been to a game since that bore of all borings Christmas week home game against Swansea three years ago. That boring **** has driven many thousands away. I know he is doing the same at Villa, and it's funny, but we need to start enticing are own lot back.

You are kidding right? The football last night was rubbish, the players looked like I felt which was cold and wondering why I had bothered to trapes my ass to St Andrews. I even think CH had a mare of a game last night. The only thing that was good about the game was we won.
