New rule alert

Looks like we are not supposed to mention other scores on a Blues live match thread (moved to Football Chat)

Why , I have no clue....the results of other matches affect our own position in the League ....if people want to watch other games they should stay off here while they do it

Ridiculous

Not a bad result agianst a team in a simlar leauge positon to us - saying we are away and lost a lot of players in the summer

Match Stats

Goals
Blackpool 2 --2Birmingham
Shots on 3---5
shots off 8---6
corners 4---6

Utter none sense if that's the case.

Can a mod confirm this?

I can't believe that the suggestion from whoever it was the other week who said dont mention scores cus they like to watch the games without knowing the result has been taken seriously. Madness if so.

Yep, decent result Daren- 11 shots away from home aint bad either. In CH I trust. (Apart from not including Redmond in the squad)

Well when Wood came on for Elliot I merely mentioned the Albion game as they were losing and had missed a couple of sitters and there was a thread on here the other day suggesting he wants to go back there once his loan is up

It is still Blues related as he is our player at the mo'

Quite obviously because Wood is a WBA player and has been linked with going back there pretty soon, their success has a direct result on us, and anyway so what if a few results are said in here.

See previous post

Seriously, is it such a big deal to mention other scores in progress even Prem teams or our rivals such as Albion, Wolves and Villa ??

I'm sure many BlueNoses still follow the Prem as well

Why was my post about Jervis scoring moved? He's a Birmingham player.

Pathetic. IT'S THE FLIPPING INTERNET!!!! Things don't have to be perfectly ordered and orchestrated at all moments. If people want to chat about it, let them chat about it. So many rules it's ridiculous.

Ah well. We left it late, but we come away from Blackpool with a point. I'm sure a lot of us would have taken that prior to kickoff.

Things get over 'moderated' quite a lot on here.

Anyway well done to blues getting the draw against a decent side in Blackpool.

Braga next! Maybe Redmond is being saved for them?

We own the goalkeeper who plays for West Brom, which is surely a link to Blues somehow?

We also have a couple of loanees off them, and we're local rivals with them so its always good to know.

MF having read the posts concerned i cannot see what all the fuss is about.

they were moved from Blues chat to football chat

they as far as i can see have no relevance to Blackpool vs Blues.

do they mention Foster ?

Myhill is here for the season so it has no bearing on his immediate future.

Hodgson has said that he has no intention of recalling Wood.

I think some people (not aimed at you) just want an excuse to moan about the Admin/ Mods.

Willie man, I know you can't get rid of Peter Pannu, but are you really trying to get rid of honest bluenoses instead?

Come on Willieman, lighten up, PLEASE.

I take issue with that statement

I think many regular posters on here have made a strong argument today.....as usual it seems to get brushed off far too easily and some folks get tagged as trouble makers

See my post in questions for Admin .....Re - Thread Removal

There are no less than 14 threads in Europa League Forum about Braga alone as of late Saturday night / early Sunday ....and that is just on Page One

Now I can understand that a "Travel / Flight Situation to Braga" and "The Tickets for Braga" and even the actual match thread for Braga can be seperated to their own threads but just like the "Love in with Bruges", it was beyond ridiculous trying to keep up with the amount of posts about the Bruges game and the experiences of Blues fans there .... I mean talk about overkill....Plus we had a wagon load of Bruges fans joining the Forum and how many have actually stayed on ??

I heartily welcome fans' contributions from other teams....Maulley from Albion and Pete from Norwich and Mrs F from Rangers and the fan of Beausejour from Chile are testament to that....There's a Spurs fan who posts a regular footy quiz on Football Chat .....a few years ago we had two Lincoln City lads who to their credit did stick around for more than just the one match :applause:

I think the issue here is .....if you are asking posters to adhere to the rules then surely it should be right across the board

Perhaps even some of the rules need to be reviewed again......just a suggestion.....more crucially many of us are loyal and have stayed loyal to this site despite you painting some of us as "Usual Suspects"......Some of us are more outspoken than others, I know I get up the noses of some (excuse the pun) but let's keep some common sense in order instead of the recent 'Gung Ho!' approach of binning this thread or that thread.....in a lot of cases people's writing style might be the issue or posts get misinterpreted which sometimes escalates into bad feeling .....you now have the capability of removing offending posts instead of whole threads which is only fair to the civilsed posters on here

Merged threads were your idea (meaning the Admin team)....and one I fully support :applause: but yet the totally innocent notion of posting other scores that are being played simultaneously on a Blues match thread goes and takes up space on another Forum

Also, just saying but the post "Jervis just scored for Swindon" should have been moved to Blues Chat, not football chat, since he is a Birmingham player, and is one of our hot prospects for the future and has already appeared for us in Europe this season

My first Blues game yest as part of the away support. Just wanted to say I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was really good & constant singing mainly superb! Good to see fans still behind the team even when losing.

Thought the game was good, both teams played some decent footy. Happy with a draw though! :)

Now for the only negative (other than having to stand for 90 mins - hadn't banked on that!)
- the constant booing of Ferguson & the songs sang about him were out of order in my opinion. I appreciate some resent him for leaving Blues but there was no need for all that yesterday. He was a good player for Blues & part of the Cup winning team. Obviously he wasn't a ****** then!
