I would go: Myhill - 6 Murphy - 6 Caldwell - 6 Davies - 7 Carr - 7 Burke - 7 Spector 6 Ndaw 7 - scrappy at times but boy was he combative. Got all over the pitch, really threw himself into headers etc. He had a presence that I think we have been missing lately and you can tell he really wants to win his challenges rather than some of the token "I will jump with the player to make it look like I'm trying" I've seen in the middle of the park lately. Elliott - 6 King - 7 Wood - 6. |

Myhill - had only the shot for the goal to deal with really (had no chance), good distribution though - 6 Carr - much livelier than some of his more recent performances - 7 Davies - dominant as usual, no mistakes - 7 Caldwell - decent game - 6 Murphy - not really in the game, took a good free kick that troubled the keeper - 6 Burke - fantatic, his enthusiasm rubs off on the rest of the players - 8 Spector - prolly the best i've seen from him this season, played some quality balls - 7 N'Daw - still in awe of N'Daw - bosed the midfield, good range of passing, looks to shoot, willing to battle and more often than not come out on top - 9 Elliott - okay but has played far better in previous games - 5 King - was constantly doubled marked and they pressed him very quickly and wasnt coming out on top frequently enough, but his link up play was good and he took his goals well - 7 Wood - put himself about, but not his best game - 5 --- Redmond - majorly influenced the game, helped emphasize the width in midfield, made some daring runs and looks lively and dangerous - 7 Zigic - meh, added to the nuisance factor i guess - 5 Fahey - whah? turned into Xavi for a day. said to my mate, i'm gonna count all his backwards passes, guess how many there were? ZERO!! great show - 7 |

Myhill - Kicking was good, throwing wasn't as clever as it has been, no chance with the goal, made a good save - 6 Carr - Looked happy, good shot after a deflection, played well - 7 Davies - No mistakes, some good tackles, won most things in the air- 7 Caldwell - Again no mistakes, some good tackles, would just like him to be a little more dominant in the air - 7 Murphy - Really attacking display by him, good free kick which was saved, little disappointed with his other attempts in the first half but a good performance - 7 Burke - 2 assists says it all, still not quite what I was used to seeing from him though, came to life in the second half after for me a disappointing first - 8 Spector - Didn't seem to do that much to be honest until Fahey had come on, bit disappointed with him to be honest, but everyone else seemed to rate his performance so must just be me, seemed to doubt his ability to pass the ball - 5 N'Daw - Fantastic performance from him, couple of wayward passes but some fantastic balls as well, wanted to win everything on the ground and in the air and largely did! Deffinatly a starter in midfield for me - 9 Elliott - Disappointed to be honest, lacks pace for the LM slot would rather see Redmond there when Beausejour can't start, some good passes - 5 King - Constant threat throughout and deserved the goals he got, clinical finishing and full of running and just generally being a pain in the ass, glad hes got a song now as well - 8 Wood - Plenty of chances but he just wasn't able to take them, one very good save from their keeper to keep a header out, did the target man job well mind - 6 --- Redmond - Always gets the crowd going, provides a big threat down the left flank and given hes a right footer and developed good technique in cutting in to deliver balls to the far post, very impressed again - 7 Zigic - Did what he does, some good headers and chest downs, set a few people up for shots, annoys me he gets so much stick because he brings a lot to our game bar goals - 6 Fahey - Impressed me when he came on, brought some creativity to our midfield which we were lacking, but put some good tackles in as well, showed real energy, doesn't deserve the stick he gets either but as one of the lads in the Tilton near me said in a sarky tone:- "oh we don't have Jerome so lets just get on Fahey's back..." - 7 |

I didn't see the game but I have long believed that N'Daw was due an opportunity in the league side and good to hear that he seems to have done so well. |
