actually, he has done something. he has made us into a team that never gives up, creates chances (21 against doncaster) he has turned a bunch of misfits, freebies & players that wernt getting a chance into a half decent side. im one of the 6000 that used to go on a tuesday night, during the dark days (ken wheldon, kumars etc) how anyone can say hes done nothing, is beyond me. too many johnny come latelys at st andrews at the moment. this man could easily become, if hes given time, our best ever manager. look after him, or we might lose him. |

Excellent appointment. Excellent Manager. Happy Birthday Chris. :applause: P.S In response to "He's done nothing" well I disagree. With the club in turmoil at board level the club could have found itself in the doldrums and facing a relegation battle. Chris has insulated the board difficulties from the playing side. Blues have given a respectable account of themselves in Europe and we will be disappointed if we dont make the playoffs. Full credit to the manager for this achievement under difficult circumstances. :applause: |

Why can't you just post "Happy Birthday", instead of having a dig? Happy birthday Chris, let's hope you get the best present ever on Thursday night! :happybday: |

I personally would have LOVED to see what Chris Hughton would have done In the Prem with the team we had last year..... A damn sight better that the Ginger Rat did would be my guess! Happy Birthday for yesterday CH, delighted with what you have done with BCFC so far and look forward to seeing you take us forwards In the coming years! |

post referred to removed by moderator Not done nothing yet! Well apart from: Not walking out becuase of all the problems he has with our Boards financial position-not oftten managers are so loyal Presenting himself andf our club in a very dignified way in all his communicatioins and interviews-not often managers are so articulate and honest Keeping us out of the relegation zone despite all the extra games we have played-lots of people on here were fearing relegation not so long ago I remember Giving us some excitement and creating chances again-so unlike the last few seasons in the prem under Mr McLeish and Mr Bruce even So if you mean he hasnt won the league by Christmas-or won the Europa Cup already then you are correct otherwise he has steadied the ship in Very stormy conditioins and he will do for me. My fear is that someone with a big wallet such as say Fulham will tempt him away perhaps at the end of the season |

A yes does the wrong things for the wrong reasons. All subordinates have to toe the line of their bosses. The best subordinates convince their boss that they want to do is the right way, let them think it was their idea all along and let them take the credit for it. Even SAF is beholden to his boss - the Glazer's. Is he a yes man? |
