My lad gets back from Uni this weds so I thought I would get him a ticket for the Maribor game. He doesn't have a ticket buying history as I have got them for him so has never had a booking ref number. In the past I could get them on my account but all that seems to have changed and he needs a number. So I have registered him and tried to book a ticket but it still wont let me as he's a newly registered number.

The only booking system seems designed to stop fans from coming to see Blues.

It is a bit strange I agree.

I had the same problem trying to get 2 tickets over the internet. So I bought them over the phone instead, and there was no problem buying 2 tickets on 1 reference number over the phone.

Quite bizarre actually.

Wont be going Thuirsday, tried to book his ticket today and they dont have any seating together in the Kop or Tilton and the staff were very unhelpful so got a refund for mine and I will watch it on TV.

Why were they unhelpful? Wouldn't they move someone so you could sit together?

Sarky barstwards no I dont expect people to move for me but I do expect a ticket office to try and sort the best possible option for the customer. Out dated I know.

I was late getting my lads tix becuase I didnt know when he would be back.

He's at uni which means he's a big boy now, if you got him a seat as close to yours as possible I'm sure he would have managed for 2 blocks of 45 minutes without getting into trouble.
