It's in its early stages, but my blues blog is finally up and running.

There will most likely be several design changes in the future but for now I would really appreciate it if you could give me your feedback, constructive feedback if possible!

You can send feedback to: feedback@typicalblues.co.uk

www.typicalblues.co.uk

Please give it a look, and if you would prefer to, please post your feedback on this thread.

I know it isn't the best at the moment but keep your eyes peeled for my first few posts to see if they are to your liking.

Cheers,

Joe.

-UPDATE-

Have got a good few posts up now, feedback?

Strange.

I've just tried it using IE myself and it's working, although I'm on IE8, not IE9 as my operating system is XP and IE9 doesn't work on XP.

I was using Safari on my IPod before and I've just checked on Firefox and Chrome as well. All are working.

Perhaps it's an IE9 isse.

Yep - working OK for me at work (ie 7 or 8, can't remember which!)

Loudmouth, it looks pretty good as a first go **thumbup

Not too sure about your comment intimating that you speak as much sense due to your tender age though.

You've obviously seen some of the complete tripe that some of our "Senior" members post on here, so don't worry about your opinion being wrong.
It may be different, but tbh, I look forward to seeing if you've still got the same tinted specs that I had 2 or 3 years ago(ish  ) when I was 16.

Hope it goes well - good luck!
If you update this link now and then (after a new post?), I'm more likely to read your views. Remind us of the link and all that **thumbup

Looks fine to me. When I was your age I used to go and see Tamworth as it was more affordable. Now though they want about £14 to see Tamworth, so you may as well get on the train and go and watch Blues.

Cheers mate, I just know that I will get criticsed because of my age. I know I may not have been though all the joys and sorrows as long as many others, who can potentially be reading what I write on my website. I am quite realistic in my views and try not to get my hopes up while at the same time not being a dreary, depressing writer. I like to look at the bright sode, but not get blinded by it.

My dad has taken me to the blues since I was 4, but recebty I have been watching tamworth games aswell, for about half a year now. Im not going everton away since blues are playing and I wanted to go to the gateshead game but I found out too late and the coaches were full. But yeah, I see them every now and again since I live in Tammy :)

Thanks a lot:) really appreciate it, I think the design needs a little reshuffle as I prefer a more simple look, but we'll see when I get some feedback:) If you could put this in your bookmarks that would be great, I'm going to write up a little feature right now on one of our players, I've got a few lined up:

N'Daw
Butland
Fahey
Zigic
King
Myhill

Thanks for your support, it helps a lot!

Good little start that, brief and to the point but but got your message across well and the "may not speak as much sense" line raised a smile.

Keep it up and bump this thread next time you update the blog.

My best tip, for what it's worth like, is don't fall into the trap that many other bloggers do - that is to start believing you know more than everyone else.

Don't mean that harshly like - but if you read other blogs, Blues or villa etc, there comes a point when the writer (probably because a few hundred people turn up regularly) thinks every visitor to his blog supports his opinion, and goes on am ego-trip.

My fave blog is 'Often Partisan' - BUT, only when he provides the links and research into the Chinese media about Carson etc. He went off the rails when he thought he was spearheading a great anti-Pannu-movement. Truly disastrous.
Even Tom Ross spat bullets when he realised.

As you've been going since you were 4, I'd use that as a tool. **thumbup

Thousands of potential readers have been going for more than 12 years KL, so trust them and don't put your voice above theirs **thumbup

Use your young age to encourage reminiscences and allow people to compare older teams with your teams, players in years gone by with your fave players and so on.

As the controller of the blog, I'd be pleased if you laid down serious rules. About libel and using foul language. But that is my opinion. It's looking good fella, and I wish you the best.

:applause:

Yeah, thanks mate!

I'm not one to blow my own trumpet at all, and I don't intend to. As I said on my first post ' I know that I’m not as knowledgeable as many other bluenoses and may not speak as much sense, but.. '. I'm not trying to be the best, I'm trying to give a different perspective.

Often Partisan is also my favorite, and aljamir seems a very intelligent person, I'm just trying to get my opinion across and talk about exciting new things for blues etc.

Thanks for the advice mate,

Also, I won't be putting my voice above others, I will soon be giving people the opportunity to show their own views on a subject, in my own little way. Will be revealed when I have some traffic.

If you could tell your friends than I'd appreciate, word of mouth is my only current way to get this site out there :)

Cheers

I've copied your link;

www.typicalblues.co.uk

And will post it elswehere & put it on me emails - if that's OK with you. **thumbup

Once again - Good Luck fella, and I wasn't being critical like, just hoping you didn't fall into the traps of certain bloggists (one especially on villa & a real loony at Chelsea :LMAO: who still don't realise that most of his "participation" comes from Millwall fans. But, there you go...)

One other thing, it may be too late now, but for next season, organise, or get someone to share the workload, with a Fantasy League in your Blog's name...even a Prediction League like we have. **thumbup

Best of luck mate, an like= I hope I was being constructive

Cheers mate, really appreciate it.

I've made my first real post, it's called 'Youth Watch' focusing on Jack Butland.

Check it out! I know my writing needs touching up but I hope it's alright, I do have a tenancy to ramble on.. haha!

Of course it's okay;) and yeah, I know it's constructive, and thanks for that.

Mate, you read my mind. I was thinking about that and I think it's best that I don't do it untill next season, because then I'll have some traffic.

Thanks!
