I know exactly what you mean.

I'd love to see us pick up our game and go for promotion now as I feel we are capable of getting a play-off place.

On the other hand, I keep asking myself whether promotion with the current board in charge would be a good thing for the club? Not to mention the whole Carson Yeung trial dragging on for quite sometime yet with all his assets frozen.

I would doubt very much they could finance an assault on the Premiership, if by some miracle, we managed to get there.

Administration, as much as it would hurt the status of the club, would be the only option to clear the decks and start again.

I cannot see how BIHL can take us forward.

The knock out stages are Feb 16 & 23rd - two months away... ample time to concentrate on the league for a while.

I know what I want tonight... Blues win and Braga win and the chance to be in the draw with European great to travel to - Nothing Less!!!

COME ON BLUES!!! lets have a night to remember at St. Andrews tonight!!!!

Is it not the case that if we got promoted we would be a more attractive proposition for new owners. The 'value' of the club would be increased and BIH is more likely to accept a higher valuation to recoup some of their losses.

BIHL bought it for £81.5m - way above the valuation. I cannot see them selling it for much less than what they paid for it.

They have took out loans left, right and centre secured against the club which I would imagine makes us even less attractive to potential buyers.

Who is going to want to buy a club saddled with debt?

There is no future for the club while they remain in charge. If we get promotion we will likely have no funds to spend on players which would see us relegated again. This squad we have now would be annihilated in the PL.

That is why, as painful as it is to say it, Administration is the only way to get new owners in unless they find a mug willing to spend double what the club is worth.

But I won't be too disappointed if we don't go through because it's been a great journey and we've surpassed all expectations. I just want us to put in a good performance tonight.

Tons of clubs have been bought whilst in loads of debt. In fact we are much more likely to get a massive buyer while we are in debt.

However, I know what you mean, they arent going to want to sell at any loss at all. They may well pump a lot of money into the club when they are allowed to again once the Yeung situation is over, to try and force us into a safe Prem position. Thats the only way they will get their money back, unless they get a stupid guy do exactly what they did and buy way over the valuation.
