Redmond wont leave, not now it wouldn't make sense as he is settled and learning and he loves the area, he will stay until he is 20/21 and then he will get stolen of us by the likes of united/arsenal. Lets make the most of him while we got him! |

Spot on. Ironically we really need the likes of Redmond and Butland to be off form whilst that Yeung is lurking in his shady background. |

Hold on, if Yeung is up sh** creek without a paddle he'll get any money, any how and as soon as he can. |

don't forget that Maribor are not even div 1 standard, so lets not big him up to much. We don't want him getting to big headed. |

Because the likes of Alex Chamberlain (who had barely played and is no better in my opinion than Redmond) went for a reported double figure price. So why not for Narhan?? |

I think its fair to say Redmond is the next Walcott/Oxlade-Chamberlain... In which he's a direct, pacey winger, who will play in the Championship for a season roughly, and go to a big club for a big fee. The boys undoubtedly got the talent to go far in the game, most definitely, but the clamour for him to start weekly isnt right. Yes he has played well sometimes he's played, other times he's had poorer games... in the Championship mainly, such as Watford away and Barnsley at home I think it was? I think Chris is handling him perfectly, he gives us a lift off the bench when he comes on (like Doncaster) and the gaffer saw the opportunity to give him a chance last night.. As some people have said, Maribor didnt look bothered or up for any sort of physical encounter, and why would they, they're in the middle of their winter break, they wont wanna be injured over Christmas in a game that meant nothing to them. Back to Nathan though, I saw two things last night that didnt get people off their feet or really talking about, but to me, impressed me, and showed me how the kid is already learning from the coaches/manager we have here... It wasnt his skills, his ability, his crosses or the way that left back was turned inside out, time and time again. 1. One time in the first half he was running down the right wing, but lost the ball, in past games he'd have just let it go and get back slowly, leaving the defence to clear up... this time he charged back, hassled the opponent and got a good slide tackle in... Progression! 2. Second half, ball broke to Spector at RB who fed it to Redmond up the line... he could easily have bombed past the full back, and crossed, but he knew that as we were on the break, the likes of Zigic/Rooney/Beausejour wouldnt be forward yet, so slowed it down, held it up, played a nice give and go and then crossed, and I think we earnt a corner... Intelligent, Mature play. He's learning still and we'll still see him more this season, but not every game/every week... its a shame the 7 subs rule was scrapped as it stops him being on the bench every single week |

Without wishing to sound sadistic I was pleased when that thug at left back clobbered young Nathan with an X rated tackle because he will certainly get more of the same if his career continues to flourish. I thought he dealt with it admirably and I have to say that having seen Ashley Young's first game for Watford then I'd rate Redmond a little higher at a comparative stage in their careers. This kid's the real deal and we should make the most of it because ere long he will be sold - CY's defence won't come cheap and Zigic's wages will have to be paid somehow. |

On thursday vs Maribor, he did the fastest step overs I've ever seen. He set up Rooney's goal and hit a shot wich was so hard he hurt his leg and had to go off. The kid id brilliant. Hughton...Play him MORE!!!! |

more like 1.5 million and owners will accept. Clubs know we're hurting and will use that for a cheap deal. |

I don't like what I have been reading about the young lad. There is a thread about a song about him..... a line which states him having sex with one's wife. ...and now he gives great head. Too much inuendo..... loan him out to Cheltenham or something. |

any monies raised from xfer fees or otherwise by Blues go toward Blues coffers and not Yueng. CY hold 26% of our parent company BIHL. Do you really think BCFC bankers would allow xyz to be withdrawn from the account, put in a brown paper bag and smuggled back to HK. |
