When was the last time we scored 6 in a league match? I'm sure it must've been in the days when TF was in charge..

0-7 at Stoke. Furlong hattrick, think Bryan Hughes got a couple, maybe Jon McCarthy one...

It's a very interesting question actually

We did score 7 against Oxford (a) in 1998/99 ....and also away at Stoke the season before.....both under TF

We also scored 7 at home against Blackpool under Bazza in the 1994/95 promotion season from the old Third

Unless I actually missed a League game ( I don't think I did) the last time I could find Blues actually scoring the magic number of six .........was way back in December of 1976 when Bues beat Leicester City 6-2 at their old Filbert Street ground....there was a big freeze around the country on that day and our match was only one of two played and it was feautured and well remembered on MOTD.......TF was a player for us, he got one goal, Gary Emmanuelle got one, there was an OG by Rofe and a Kenny Burns hat trick made up the scorers that day......I was actually there :applause:

Frankie Worthington was on the Leicester team at the time

The last time we scored six at home in the League.....8th January 1972.....6-3 v Portsmouth.......and I do believe the last time we scored five goals in a League game was also v Portsmouth in 2006 , the relegation season under Bruce

But please, correct me if I am wrong

This is the Leicester game.....

2-6

Blues fans seemed to be all over Filbert Street that day. Great to hear KRO being belted out as well!

I think that was the game the team won a TR7 sports car....although it was awarded to Kenny Burns but I think he pooled it with the squad.....Didn't they they sell it for charity or something .....my memory has gone

The commentator (Barry Davies) mentioned something about it I think

I remember that 5-0 against Pompey because I was watching with my Pompey fan mate and I was laughing at their demise...

...they of course got us reacted to the loss by going on an amazing run and getting us relegated...last laugh and all that

Correct Parti, they did win a TR7 Sports car, sponsored by PJ Evans, I remember the game well too.

Listen to the Youtube vid again, great chant by the Blues fans just after we scored the 6th goal,....'we're going home in a brand new motor car'
