Do you want them both to stay up or get relegated ?? Personally I think Wolves are down from the Prem already.....it was a right clanger getting rid of Mick without having a replacement ready.....a couple of the big targets turned them down :banghead: Gary Megson was watching them Saturday I'd like Coventry to stay up (Midlands side) but bad loss for them at Bristol City on Monday Maybe we can do them a favour Saturday **thumbup |

Having spent most of me life in Coventry ( at Warwick & Leamington) I do have a fondness for Cov, only becaise of mates and friends etc. But those same mates and friends turn into total dikheds at matches. They ooohhh and ahhhhhh when a Cov player gets the ball...even deep in their own half. I've often thought, do I just hang around with nerds like---- and vice versa :LMAO: No, I think it's just the fabric of an imported community not really giving a *****.(Imported means - Durham, Cumbria,Newcastle etc post 1950s) I wouldn't like them to go down, but they are now financially prey to every local scrap merchant and car dealer and estate agent chasing local headlines, local glory and a quick profit. Wallsall have more important players in their background imo |

We need as many midlands sides to be as successfull as possible, we might then get some recognition from the London biased media. It would kill them to have to say anything good about our little area. Winkers. |

Wrong! The London Media love Man Utd and Liverpool because they are simply amazing club's in almost every way. It is nothing to do with Wigan, Bolton or Blackburn being in the Premier League. If Blues won 20 Premier League titles the media would worship us in the same way. |

Want them both to stay up. The more midlands team playing in the premier league the better, and that includes the Villa! |

agree 100%except i want wolve and cov to go down. :LMAO: dont mind if wolves only go down as far as the conference, but coventry can go to the unibond sticky glue league and compete for the harry wingnut trophy. bye bye. lets all sing together, bye bye sky blues, and if we sing together, coventry will lose. |

NO History (and Stats) show that the more "local derbys" that we are involved in, the more midland teams suffer or get relegated. Leicester, Derby, Wolves, Stoke and us- we've all gone down with 4 or 5 midland teams aboard. Villa have always survived a glut of 4 or 5 "derby-sides". We haven't and neither have the baggies and Stoke or Leicester or Coventry. And Wolves. Look at any table where you have 5 or 6 or 7 midlands teams and look at who gets relegated. **thumbup We take points off each other, nuetralise each other--and northern or southern teams scamper away. The less local opposition the better. The baggies will do brilliant next year (imo) without Wolves, and with Stoke and Villa going into financial meltdown (sell-to-buy etc). The less local oppo the better for them. We don't need more midland teams, we need less---crikey, that's how villa built up their season ticket buyers - no local opposition. Dead beats like us and the baggies were a no-fail sale. LESS local oppo if we get up, that's the way to success as villa have shown. :D |

Your wish came true, maulley ....now the Blues have to keep their part Good win for you guys at Liverpool and it looks like The Albion will be the top West Midlands side this season :applause: You can include the whole Midlands region if you stay ahead of Stoke I'm really concerned about Coventry's financial future though And Wolves take the elevator down to the Electric Plug League after revamping Molineux into a 36,000 stadium :LMAO: I highly doubt that they will fill it in the Championship However, personally I would like to see as many Midlands clubs back in the Prem although that could be many years from happening Even as recently as The 80's Blues, Villa, Albion, Wolves, Coventry, Nottingham Forest, Notts County, Leicester, Derby and Stoke were all in the top flight at some point That's ten clubs .....next year there could be only two (If Vile go down) and we don't make it :break: |

i desperatly desperatly want blues to come back up, the only worry for me is are they ready for the prem again or do they need another season of rebuilding in the championship. i would think if blues do come up they could buy some more players to strengthen the squad by raising money from the sale of foster etc. if he goes. if i were foster to be honest i would be looking for a better club than albion.i think he is now well worthy of a top 6 club. and put his value at between 6 to 8 million at least. as for wolves and cov, i did genuinely feel sorry for the wolves manager on sunday. it really is not his fault and i hope if they get a new manager he will be kept on in a senior coaching role. he was gutted after the match, you could see that. as for cov, :LMAO: :LMAO: |
