Maulley the rifles/bayonets & Thompson gun are all reference to the black & Tans who shot stabbed & murdered women & children in cold blood! Its something that as an Englishman I am ashamed of, dont let these orange lot with their bigotry bring you down to their level mate. I excuse Mrs F. she thinks History is an album by Michael Jackson (only joking Norma!!!) KRO Good point Bart! |

Desmond as one of the orange mob as you call us i am amazed that you can talk about the murder of innocents in cold blood so openly. Memories go back to October 74. But then your mob were probably innocent then as well. Happy st georges day Follow Follow |

lads lads calm down, it only started as a bit of banter, des the bayonets and thompson gun i mentioned belonged to the ira and the words i quoted are from the irish song the merry plough boy. and quite clearly states in the song, i am off to join the ira and i am off tomorrow morn. and were all off to dublin in the green in the green where the helmets glisten in the sun, where the bayonets flash and the rifles crash to the rattle of a thompson gun. |

Maulley The bayonets & the Thompson guns and the cannons were exclusively owned & used by the Brits or the black& Tans as they were called at the time. Remember the Irish were only seeking freedom as anyone would if an overseas power ruled your country. Linfield Thats called changing the point of attack mate, its what you do when you have lost that particular argument. Tavern in the Town (oct 74) lots of blues boyos (myself included) used to drink there at the time, that was a tragedy of epic proportions. Very low blow mate...and yes I flew my St Georges flag yesterday morning on my car! Being patriotic doesnt mean being biased rascist or unable to understand the lessons of history! Hail Hail & as always KRO |

Mate sorry if i hit a nerve there personally i lost 2 close friends that night so it still burns in my brain. The reaction is when i am called a racist and a bigot i have my beliefs you have yours neither will change and truthfully you or i wont make a big difference anyway. But in the public eye the wee ginger chav could and he loves it. Get rid as soon as before he becomes the second ginger manager to come third in a two horse race. KRO & Follow Follow |

Agree with every word mate, see its all about communication! Yes a real LADDO nicknamed Spike was in the tavern that night, amazingly got away with cuts bruises and a perforated eardrum. There is actually an online petition which you can sign to get a debate in the House of Commons to reinvestigate this murderous event. Think its : http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/24443 I signed it and circulated it to everyone on my email contact list. Although my sympathies may have been with the Irish Republican movement of 1916 to 1921 I am a real law & order fiend and I actually think terrorists should be jailed for life not let out after 8 or 9 years! Hail Hail & As always KRO |
