Just on SSN that WBA have given permission for FA to talk with Hodgson on England job. No Harry then?

Please no, every big job he's had hes flopped. He's good with average players and minimal money. He cant play good football or use good players.

Look at him with Liverpool, Inter, even Blackburn to some extent.

I'm hoping the FA are just trying to force spurs and Redknapp into a decision

You ignore the fact that he took Switzerland to a World Cup last 16 and Finland to Euro 96 and their highest ever World ranking.

He left Inter when they were 3rd in the League and he got them to 7th the previous season, given that the 2yrs prior they'd finished 13th & 6th I don't think he did to badly.

Here why not check out his record it's really easy - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Hodgson

Let's face it he is a safe pair of hands, won't rock the boat, won't upset the suits and will go down well as a representative of the country. Doesn't necessarily mean he will do a good job tho !!! The situation needs a loose canon like Harry but its the Cloughie situation all over again

 true.

I,m not a fan of our 'Arry, he has less credentials than Roy and frankly does'nt seem to have a plan B, but would Roy want the poisoned chalice?

Hodgson is a bitter and dreary old man who'll struggle to handle the egos and pressures of managing England.

You heard it here first - I was told by a reliable source " don't be surprised if Roberto Martinez goes to West Brom"

:LMAO:

He's under contract Lowds !

The baggs don't dish out compensation anymore. It wouldn't surprise me if they are still paying off transfer fees for managers and players over the last 5 years.

The baggs are a Sullivan wet dream, if I can be crude.

The Baggs priorities are:

1. Shareholder dividends (Those with Platinum Card with a Box :) )

2. Shareholder dividends ( Gold Cards and Box Renters)

3. Director Re-Numerations and Shareholder dividends Gold & Silver Cards)

4. Wages

5. Maintence

6. Academy :LMAO:

7. Any potential New Mangaer Wages & only one girl/boy friend

8. New players.

**thumbup

As it is assumed that Alex is going to " move on to New Challenges" in 3 weeks, then the Baggies are going to be 3rd picks at any manager.
Wolves will outbid them , cos they are up the creek already and need to gamble.

All eyes on Chris - Yes.

But will he sell Season Tickets at WBA or Wolves ?

We know that Chris is the nearest thing to God we have ever witnessed, but, he can do worse than go to a fee-fall club like Wolves, with a dubious interfering owner. Or a club like the Baggies with an omnipotent ruler that has other financial priorities.

I think Chris Hughton knows. We are his club.

Let's just bloody pray that the ownership realise that. Realise that they have our best asset in Chris Hughton and that they might lose him.

Our Best ASSETS are Hughton,Trollope, Calderwood.

Those three ....can and have.... enhanced Bosmans, Frebies and Loanees....improved them even.

This club is Chris Hughton's destiny.

Emotionally,
hopefully-finacially,
Polically
Socially
Mentally

Blues and Hughton belong together.

I must have been the only person who didn't want Redknapp to get it, or Hodgson. I wanted Pearce to get the job, done brill with the U21s and at least he had the balls to try out new players.

I have split all the speculation about CH onto a separate thread in Blues Chat, as we were getting loads of duplicate threads all over the place.

Please keep this thread to discussion about Hodgson and his Englan appointment. Thanks. **thumbup
