The premier league doesn't need a small time club with no fans like Blackpool in it. Made me laugh on SSN when there was Blackpool fans queuing up for tickets on the day they went on sale

I hope West Ham do it.

Oh and I agree with boilerman, Holloway is a complete **** for the 90 minutes but gets away with it because of his apparently funny press conferences pre/post match.

Its WHU for me, simply because of our old board members!
Wonderfull business people, Karen apparently has cut the costs down the BOLYN by 20 mill with another five to go this season on wasted wages.
If they go up and get their hands on that new ground she will have them printing money!!
I`ve said it many times I would build a statue of the three of em in the kop carpark DG/DS/&KB all possibly in a sexual menage trois????
They saved our club from total oblivion bacvk in the day and stuck with us till we were back in the prem (something I never ever expected to happen!)

Nothing against Blackpool but I have got some mates who are West Ham fans so for their sakes I hope West Ham win. Although it will be great to wind them up if Blackpool win.

I think West am have been playing the better football and they came third so Im slightly on their side.

Should be a good game for the neutral though.

I hope Blackpool go up cause I have some pennies on them to win!

I would of preferred West Ham to go up, so we have less competition for promotion next season, but promotion for us is looking a million miles away atm with these flippin' accounts -.- :boohoo:

I'm in two minds, having been to Blackpool I dont wish to have to go there again next season, so in a way I hope they go up.

But probably best we get rid of Spam as they will be up there again next season if they dont get promoted whereas Blackpool will hopefully fall into mid table mediocrity again

West Ham fans despise our club and our city, they are 'orrible, arrogant cockney twerps. Just seen a few of them interviewed on SSN and they were so confident of smashing Blackpool, the only argument from them was by how many, all saying they play the beautiful game, ignoring Big Sam's hoof ball tactics. Holloway was very magnanimous in victory saying lots of nice things about BCFC and our supporters. I for one will be supporting Blackpool tomorrow and hope to see the dwarf crying. DS said he would make sure he left our club in good hands, rollocks! He saw the money and ran.

I agree whole heartedly, can't stand 'em! Deffo want Blackpool to win. Shame they can't sell there allocation though, last night Talk Sport were saying 7,000 to 10,000 tickets left.Wish them the best of luck for tomorrow, (& I've got money on a 2-1 win) **thumbup

As someone who was born into a West Ham family I'd be quite happy to see them promoted for the sake of my relatives' happiness.

I'm always quite bemused when I see the mutual loathing that exits between the supporters of both clubs because from my point of view we're practically identical. We both draw our support from people of similar backgrounds, we're both proud, working class clubs with passionate supporters (and no shortage of hooligans, unfortunately). Neither of us have been that successful, we've both spent a lot of time yo-yoing between divisions and we both have similar ambitions for the future. Whenever I talk football with my West Ham supporting family it's no different to talking with my bluenose friends. The way they see themselves and their players, their attitude to other clubs etc is so similar to ours it's spooky.

We don't like them because we see the worst elements of ourselves (annoying accents, thuggish fans, delusions of grandeur etc) manifested in them and they see the same in us. For whatever reason we can find to slag them off you can be sure that they are using the exact same reason to slag us off. It's hilarious!

If West 'Am don't go up then either:

a) The two Daves keep the nucleus of the squad together and fund the lot through raiding 'the kids inheritance'

B) Anything not nailed down is sold.

There is no chance of 'a' happening. Gold and Sullivan have taken the same gamble they did with Blues after the two relegations.

West 'Am are in a gargantuan amount of debt, without the Premier League money they will be in desperate financial trouble. Lose tomorrow and West Ham will lose everything. No free stadium as the Football League has already formally backed Leyton Orient, no big wages as the two Daves won't be able to afford them, no manager as Allardyce will walk, no 'Premier League' squad because everyone who stayed/joined will want to go back to the Premier League.

Come on Blackpool.

Im in a win win situation.

If West Ham go up... then the only 3 teams to finish above us in this league last season have gone up... and it's one automatic top 2/3 team gone for next season, opening it all up more IMO

If Blackpool go up, it'll be fun to watch on and laugh at all the arrogant Hammers, all the bias media and everyone who said "West Ham will walk this league"

Definitely rooting for Blackpool even though Holloway annoys me. Hate the arrogance of West Ham as a club and their fans. Tried to buy the league this year, and hopefully will fail. Remember reading somewhere that West Ham's average wage this season is one of the highest in Europe, higher than Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund. Crazy amounts of money that Gold and Sullivan have put into the club, for that I hope the risk fails. West Ham will not be a great threat next year, they will lose Allardyce and the majority of their squad.

Rooting for West Ham as Blackpool didn't even come close to selling all their tickets.

Even Luton have sold more for their Blue Square play-off final.

Don't want Blackpool to go up because they're a club that isn't big enough for the Premier League and don't particularly like their fans.

Your delusional mate, the FL have backed orient???
Orient dont want it, Barry Hearn just wants a few smackers to shut up, Yes Hammers are in massive debt £110 mill when our old board took over, but they have already knocked a twenty million hole in it and will do at least as well next year.
They are the best board in the biz, mores the pity they are not still with us.

The Football League would be required to formally back the West Ham bid were they a member of the league, however they were legally required to ensure that Orient's fanbase was not adversely affected by dropping another, higher placed team onto their doorstep. Naturally the Premier League couldn't give a ***** about Leyton Orient and with Saturday's victory West Ham will no doubt have the full support of Scudamore and the circus.

As for the best board in the business, well, delusional seems apt enough. Fancy buying a free watch?

Please explain to me, in detail, how what Gold and Sullivan did at Blues is better than what Al-Fayed has done at Fulham, or what Huw Jenkins has done at Swansea.

It's only a paper profit, remember.

I dont give a flyin **** about Swansea or Fulham.
They came here when our average gate was 7000 which ranked 44th in the league, they took us back to The Holy Grail took our attendances up to 28+ the 15th highest and proved that you could improve a club and do it profitably.
When you think that none of them were Brummies or had any real feelings for the club (DG & DS only came here cos west ham wouldnt give them a place on the board) then I think they stand head & shoulders above any of their peers.
Fulham are massively in debt to the former Harrods owner, when our board left there was no debt!
Amazing business people who will now take their knowledge & acumen to promote WHU rater than us.

But still we journey on (but this time with a numpty as Owner!!)

Swansea were rock bottom of the entire football league and are now sitting quite handily in the Premier League.

Ergo, their board must be 'better' than Gold and Sullivan, seeing as how all you're measuring these things on is where teams are in the pyramid. So your 'best board by a country mile' talk is, literally, mere hyperbole.

Here, buy this free watch.

How pathetic, you shared in that journey of a lifetime but your only grumble is a `free watch promotion` you must be great fun to be with!!

Incidently I would also take my hat off to Swansea, they have done brilliant BUT
... they aint my club.

I have always said I could write a book about the Blues being the worst run club in Europe.

Did you know for instance that in 1973 we were the 4th best supported club in the country (ave 36000) yet within 17 yrs we were 44th averaging & 7000.

We were racing towards oblivion, till they got hold of us!

Nuff said!
