Quite pleased they are going for the unproven novice Solskaer. He may have won a league in Norway, the clubs first for decades, but it aint the prem. So The very worst of luck to him and that vilest of clubs.

i dont wish him the worst of luck, i simply dont care about the villa. but the guy seems to bve a very genuine guy who is very likeable and an absolute legend up here in manc land.i do hope he goes onto bigger and better things than the villa.

I just don't see how any manager can turn that club around with little money for transfers.

Money talks, and Villa do not have a lot of that. They spent fortunes over the MON era and they are still paying for it now. They are still undergoing serious cost-cutting measures, so any manager who takes over will have to cut their cloth accordingly.

I cannot see the likes of Darren Bent wanting to stay there whilst they continue to struggle. I fully expect him to leave at some point next season.

Solskjaer is an unproven entity - it may turn out to be a masterstroke by Lerner, but it could also be another disaster in the making.

I'd love it if they got Mick though - that would just be the icing on the cake!

If Solskjaer takes over at Vile watch them become media darlings over night like they did when O'Neill was in charge.

No he hasn't. He said they haven't made him an offer but if they do he would have to seriously consider it.
