Ukraine's manager says an act of "sabotage" might have caused the outbreak of food poisoning affecting 10 members of his Euro 2012 squad.

The players suffered the illness prior to the friendly against Turkey in Germany, which they lost 2-0.

They beat the Czechs on a ground 25 miles from the Czech border.

Not too familiar with Roy's biz at Fulham, other than him being an attrition artist, like Alexman, but with style.
IMO - He couldn't do the Alexman stuff in front of the Kop - especially with another employee who wanted the job!

At the baggies it was percentages. Nothing stunning like. No flambouyance. Just caution and reliance on a couple of flair players.

This could have been his style at Fulham - don't know like.

First real match I've seen tonight. and it's like watching the baggies.

Start like you have a plan **thumbup

Get shitenhauzen scared and defend your section - don't for goodness sake show initiative :boohoo:

IMO like, France were crummy and might have thought they'd walk it.
It looked like they might, at times.
It was their ineptitude and arrogance rather than English skills that created the draw like.

I prefer Roy, to the alternative of 'Arrylike, but what Roy needs is 'guts', a bit of bravado, a bit of electric like.
Unfortunately he's packed some of that, but has supressed it.

We were fortunate against France imo like.

The Poland vs Russia match up surely brought home the hatred the poles have for their former communist leaders! I am surprised there were no fatal casualties!

Atrocious from Ireland, made it easy for Spain. Great show from the Irish fans though, did their country proud.

To a fellow like Trapp, I suppose, 32 - 34 year old players, in crucial areas, must seem like young 'uns having a frolic.

I love their fans, really good stuff from them.
A shame that all the eggs were in one basket, labelled Keane-Dunne-Given.

And now to the future?

A future of young players the manager has not blooded, encouraged or even considered.

Après moi, le déluge
- French I know, but I couldn't find Trappotonese.

:D

Well done the Irish fans, most heartwarming and sincere celebration, of football supporting.

:applause:

A complete mis-match, and the extra 8 teams next time round will ensure more of the same.

It's Sunday, an I ain't seen a conspiracy theory for gettin on 24 hours.

About anything !

Here's a join up the dots one about Euro 2012.

I quite like this cos it didn't work :LMAO:

Roman Abramovich increases financial support for the Russian National side January time.

Petr Cech signs 4 year deal with Chelsea in mid-May.
A week after being named No 1 in the Czech Euro team.

Russia are to meet the Czech Republic in the first match.

Petr Cech lets in 4 goals !

.......
Quote:

Petr Cech has conceded five goals from only six shots on target faced so far in Euro 2012.
Opta Sports

Makes you think. Well done Greece :LMAO:

So far - this Euro has been brill ...imo like **thumbup

Not one 0-0 match. More goals in the group stage than in the whole of the last Euro. And the group stage ain't finished !

Triffic tournament.

I didn't want to start a new thread, I'd rather keep it here, even if it is off tangent like.

Now. Me question at this point is -

Which team and which players have made you reconsider your opinions/hopes/ ideas - etc???
For me:

Player Down:
Van Persie
-quite Championship level on this run out

Arshavin
-good even brill, 60 minutes, then zero

Keane - Dunne - Given

Cech - (maybe financial reasons involved in him letting in 4 goals to his employer's side though - )

Player Up:

Krohn-Delhi & Eriksen (Denmark)

Welbeck

Team Down:

Holland - WRH ?

Russia - :LMAO:

Team Up:

Denmark & England ( so far)

Just a diversion to see if anyone has other opinions like **thumbup

Portugal gave Holland a right going over tonight. They looked excellent on the break, even though Nani was very wasteful again. These lot could gatecrash the party.

As Third favourites they only just made it fella :D

They remind me of a swarm of bees, hundreds upon hundreds going this way and that and only ever being meaningful through one outlet.

A guy who has to call over his team mates to congratulate him, and only 2 bothered :LMAO:

Any team with nous will deal with it.

I don't think the Czechs will though, so it's Portugal into the semis I figure ---but like, unworthy imo.
