If you thought things have been bad at blues, spare a thought for Rangers. Only six first team players turned up for pre season.

Show solidarity with our Rangers brothers.

Rangers? Ugh, no...

I grew up with blues fans wearing winter hats that were half blues and half Rangers. The vile had hats that were half villa and half celtic. So for that reason I always kept up to date with Rangers fortunes.

Rangers deserve to be in the mess they are in, they were rightly caught and now it is just a choice of what league to send them to. I feel no sympathy for the club, but I do feel for the fans who have to go through all of this. Not nice to see a club losing all of its history.

Ditto.

No matter what they change their name to, they'll always be 'Rangers'.

In my opinion there are four big clubs in the UK. Celtic and Rangers are two of them, and Man United and Liverpool make up the quartet.

Teams like Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and the Vile, either have a good history or a bright future, but they have a long way to go to be up there with my 'big four'.

thanks to you Bluenoses that have taken an interest in our plight. I am a BCFC fan staying up in Scotland but spent a lot of my life in Birmingham & my wife & family are all BCFC fans.

I am from Glasgow and a Rangers season ticket holder but watch Blues when I can, also I purchase merchandise from the Blues shop to support the Blues as I can't attend many games but have signed up to Blues media player & blues newsletter.

The situation up here has been created by individuals who basically brought the club down which was highlighted, but the SFA and others stuck their head in the sand, but you will all have your own take on it from whatever media sources you read but it has become socio-political now and away beyond the realms of football.

But thank you as a Rangers/Blues fan for your concern and I do hope you make it to the Premiership next season.

Rangers situation is a direct response to the over inflated salaries of players in the Prem and Rangers and Celtics attempt to be equal. All this has developed as a direct consequence of Sky money which has ruined our game.

If you can't feel for a club feel for their situation as "but for the grace of God go we"

Rangers will bounce back strong as the cream will always rise to the top , and without any other team to compete with for honours celtic will suffer

I don't think Blues fans are associated any more with Rangers than they are with Celtic. I remember standing in the Kop in the early 80's hearing the Celtic/Rangers chant with two sets of supporters trying to out sing the other.

But saying that, I hate to see any club going through this as it's the normal working class fans who are suffering when this is a huge part of their life.

I feel bad for SOME of the fans.

I don't feel bad for Rangers. Couldn't care less what happens to them personally.

Personally, I dont like the "kick a man when he's down" approach, what can you possibly gain from that.
Rangers never did me any harm, and its not their fault that they were run buy a bunch of crooks (allegedly)

How lucky are we then.

Depending on which division they end up in they will be back in the SPL in one-three years. Doubtless they will be back in the hunt for the top spot within five.

What a hardship. How will those poor lambs ever cope?

makes you think though, had it been a club like Hearts or Hibs, they would have been voted back in. I think the fact Rangers have won all those tin pots and have possibly swanned around aloof and uncaring to other clubs fortunes for years may have nailed them.

its only a theory though

Was it worth watching this season? 6 or 7 or 8 'derby' matches this season... boreinhell!

Seriously, let them fight there way back up, lets not have a Celtic v Rangers game for a couple of years... and then when they do meet again... now that will be a Derby with 10 times the passion than normal I bet!

I feel for the fans, but they should be punished IMO. 3rd Division will send a message out far and wide.

What's the point of having rules if you don't apply them? and so what if other clubs go to the wall... they shouldn't be over spending either.

My Second team is celtic, no thats not true, I dont have a second team BUt always kept an eye out for Celtic.
However Rangers deserve all thats coming to them, I would think just the same if it was celtic.
Leaving aside the tax implications they have lived beyond their means for year after year, reality has just kicked in.
If we wwent down to the conferance I would be gutted but wouldnt stop going, same for those Gers!

Remember Gretna FC ?

Quote:

The team struggled badly in the SPL and the club were placed in administration after Mileson withdrew his support due to illness.
At the end of the season, all of the club's staff were made redundant and the club were initially relegated to the Third Division

What's the difference?

One club liquidated through financial malpractice ( but hopes to retain their Trophies in that period of abuse.)

One club sent high and left high and dry through benefactor illness.

Which one is wrong?

Or is it the might of supporter strength that sways the argument.

Gretna v Rangers?

Integrity must stand or Scottish Foottie is really dead like.

As Allie says, put them in Div 3..they will come up and they will re-organise properly.

No one is going to stop supporting them.
Not Rangers!

Let Celtic have a run of meaningless trophies - even Celtic fans wouldn't include those 2 years as being important.

I support Dundee, in Scotland like, so it's not anti-one or pro-another.

Rangers (the ownership, their conduct, their arrogance, their threats to Scottish football) and their criminal behaviour...do need reduction.

Gretna v Rangers ?
