Don't ya just love this

Jim McInally says Rangers should snub Robbie Savage's offer to play for the new club as the retired midfielder could not compete in Scotland's Division Three, the Peterhead manager quoting former Kilmarnock midfielder Stevie Murray saying of the Welsh international that "he couldn't take a beach ball off me in a telephone box".

I think his dad is better now anyway.

To be fair my opinion of Savage has changed again to a more favorable stance. He is always complimentary about the Blues. He could do a job in Scotland no bother same as Dean Windass. Not often you see a footy player offering his skill and experience for free. I reckon the jocks would love him. Would love to see him put one on Lennon.

He and a business partner want to build a "contemporary" 35-bedroom hotel, restaurant and bar.

On Twitter, Savage said he had received the "fantastic news".

He also wanted "to start up an academy for football" and encourage premier football and rugby teams to stay there.

he isnt the bad guy many make him out to be

I think you will find his father passed away.

As for Scottish football, what a joke. :LMAO:

Not entirely sure all these tweets from Mr Savage were one big wind up/not! I'm leaning towards not because he's a mate (allegedly) of Mr Green our owner. Nice of him to offer anyway!

Wouldn't say we need him though. We may be in the 3rd Div but everyone knows that's short term and we've made some quality signings already, SPL players who know they'll get back there with us.

Super Rangers..no matter what Division we are in!

:)
