That's a shame. Now he can't send managers over there to take in the mentality of a team that consistently wins the Super Bowl each year.

Poor old Alex.
I remember his visit last year to the Browns, and how he was so enthused he suggested their staff came over to Villa to see how to really park a bus.

Apparently the dosh goes into the "Lerner Trust Fund" - of which like old Randy is the Executor.

So, no dosh for Villa.

Only dollars for the Lerner 'family'. The purpose I read tonight, of the Trust is to invest and make more dosh - not to subsidise lame ducks. And Randy's stupendous divorce settlement comes under 'family'

I imagine Mrs Randy is now a patron Saint of the Brown's fans.

:LMAO:

By all accounts he never bought the browns, when his father passed away he inherited them from his father.

He doesn't really have much interest in them and the new owners of the browns are fans of there closest rivals, which has clearly caused an uproar with the fans.

I see Lerner has sold browns for 1 billion $,it seems we will be drifting further away from them
With our accounts not being available to at least October means any potential takeover will be even further away from happening :kro:

Its not our accounts, its BIHL. Wouldn't really have an effect if someone wants to buy us, but I heard, don't remember where. December time might hear something about potential buyers.

And this thread feels like a camouflaged dig at the club just not covered too well.

lerner may have sold his nfl team however this was for a very good reason, he has lost some serious money in the last few years.

do not expect he'll be splashing cash at the vile in fact they will only spend what the generate with sales. he has gone on record saying the witton historian's need to be pretty much self sufficient after losing money even after selling the likes of milner, young and downing. of course they did buy bent on the back of this though.

He may have sold the browns for about £650m, but how much did he lose on them as well? Running an NFL team is a lot more expensive than running a Premier League team.

And yes, the vile are about £190m in debt, but it is pretty much all owed to Learner.

We are a bit similar where the majority of what we owe is owed to CY, although he obviously has other issues, I doubt he would call it in though, he might as well sell BCFC if he needs his money back.

 ...ermm, there was no such thing as BIHL until a financially naive and [allegedly] corrupt hairdresser got involved with us. Somehow I do think BIHL do have some ownership in Birmingham City FC........ but eh, what would I know?
