Spain are, or were the best team in the world and Brazil just brushed them aside as if they were second raters. I love Brazil, my favourite team outside the obvious one, and to see them getting back towards the perfection of the sixties and seventies is a real bonus. Not one bad performance from any of their players, I guess Hulk was the only disappointment, but that is against the stellar performances around him. From keeper to strikers, and through a very very capable midfield totally competent and man of the match for me David Luiz, without that incredible goal line clearance he had been imperious, with it....well. The way football should be played. I thoroughly enjoyed that from start to finish. Brilliant. |

I love watching Spain but I guess it was one step too far for them -- that SF on Thursday night would have made them stuffer - temp in the 90s, 80% RH, 120 mins and at the back of 10months continuous football. It was a bummer last night -- 11.00pm KO. A bit too late for me. I just cannot take the current Brazil seriously compared to the greats of old when I see the likes of Fred and Hulk. |

It was a good game from what I saw but don't think we can read too much into this result. What I would say is that when the finals come along next year Spain need to avoid Italy at all costs as I think they will beat them the next time they face each other. Italy are always hard to break down and Bolatelli is a fabulous asset with strength and pace the two things the spanish defence can't handle. |

I enjoyed the performance of every Brazil player last night. This Brazil team played a high tempo pushing game and they have a new 'steeliness' mixed in with their sublime football skills - they just didn't let Spain play their usual quick feet triangles passing and moving game. Spain shouldn't worry though, they are still the best team in the world for me and have had a long hard season setting very high standards and will not let this defeat get to them I'm sure. It does look good for Brazil though for next years world cup and the atmosphere in the stadium sounded great on TV and must've been incredible amongst the fans. I would've loved to have been there. |

Yeah, they certainly struggled against them in the final of the Euros last year. |

Fantastic game of football, from start to finish. Brazil showed Spain what football is like for everyone else they turn over with ease. Last team before last night to beat Spain... England. Last team to beat Brazil... England. We're gonna win the World Cup! :dancer: |

:LMAO: Because you like Cricket lowds... Boring passing, no activity, NEVER A PLAN B Do the same...all the time...total inertia. Just like Cricket...Spain have lost innovation and adaption I thunked that Italy should've been there, against Brazil, they are really adapting and developing, whereas Spain are not....imo **thumbup |

Just to qualify the OP, as someone made the wrong assumption. BCFC IS the only team I support above Brazil....NOT England, who in my humble opinion are normally average to poor and play a poor style of football that I do not support. |
