American actor/comedian Gene Wilder has died from complications of Alzheimer's Disease....he was 83

Brilliant comic famous for his roles and work with director Mel Brooks in 'Blazing Saddles' and 'Young Frankenstein' along with two very good movies with Richard Pryor as his partner .....notably 'Stir Crazy' and 'Silver Streak '

One of Gene's very early roles was as the victim of a car theft by Bonnie and Clyde....the infamous duo played by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway in a 1967 classic

Gene was married to another brilliant US comic, Gilda Radner , his co-star in 'Haunted Honeymoon and 'The Woman In Red' and she also tragically died of ovarian cancer at the young age of 42

RIP, Gene .....a true comic genius

I should also add that arguably his most famous role was in " Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory"

Not the best of his films with Richard Prior, but it still has some very funny moments : "Fuzzy Wuzzy was a woman?????" , "I don't know what you're looking for, but it's a little to the left.....", "I suppose a **** is out of the question???"
