This boy is our Song/Wiltshire/Acquah I'm afraid, the quality midfielder we've cried out for all window and haven't got

No pressure son
We will need Gardner, Davis & N'Doye to step up to the plate now! It's still been a very good window!
this is my only complaint about this window.

we've immensely upgraded the team from top to bottom, EXCEPT in one of the most important areas of the pitch. Which BCFC haven't had talent in for almost a decade.

we're going to rely on Davis, Gardner, and N'Doye. (Gleeson?)

Hoping Liam is great, but he only has like two U23 appearances and no other experience.

We've upgraded the team so much, but the position that needs to win the ball, keep it, and distribute it is still by far the least talented in our club

Everton fans seem to rave about him. He might be best signing of the lot!

Don't forget we have Boga as well. This is player that Chelsea fans are bemused has been let go - from the Premier League champions. I suspect he will be the stand out player.

Found this on him. Playing No.52 in the Everton midfield. Looks quite accomplished..it's whether he can adapt to this level.

agree.

he looks decent.

this signing is so weird to me though. it'd make more sense if we bought him for the future or something, but literally his only experience is playing U23 matches. He's only with the club until January, and he's young and quite small. He does look like he'll be a pretty good player, but are we doing Everton a favor or something? I can't possibly see Walsh getting into a League game. He'd be used for however many cup games we have until January.

It's funny that we were going to break our transfer record on Acquah, Badu, Onazi, Song, etc. And the player we end up signing for that important role is a teenager with ZERO experience, who at this point probably couldn't be trusted to be picked over someone as bad as Gleeson for a meaningful match.

Again, he looks a really good talent just based off some really limited video and some good reviews of his game. And he plays the role for the type of player we need. It just doesn't make sense to me that he'd be going back in January. I can't see him playing more than 5 or 6 games in that time span, and even those would be sub appearances and cup games.

I reserve the right to not have this brought up in the future if he turns out to be the next fabregas haha!! I do think he looks like he has a great future. He's just so young now with such limited experience i'd be expecting him to play with our U23s or a lower league. They must really know something to sign him with the intent to play championship football

Certainly can pass the ball , looks cool in possession , I would say he looks better than Gleeson or Kief , so maybe not such bad business .
Would have liked a strong combative defensive midfielder in but saying that the new look of the team with wingers and pacey front men maybe we will set up differently , I mean you have a pick now from Davis , Gardner ,ndoye,Walsh , in a central midfield two with Boga and Jota playing right and left . Gallagher & Adams up front .
Can't wait to see the new line up next home game.

He looks like he certainly has ability but I can imagine him getting bullied in competitive championship games, I don't think he'll start, imo it was just a last minute loan deal for cover in CM as we sold Kieftenbeld thinking we had Song.

Welcome Liam. I hope that you enjoy your stay and I also hope that you will get some playing time. Can't see you coming in on loan and not getting to play, some part within the club. Maybe with the U23's for most part but cover for the first team. **thumbup

Well we're crying out for a ball playing midfielder so if he fills that void then happy days! He may not be a song but the kid's gotta start somewhere so hopefully he'll do well for us, he cant do any worse than Gleeson, Kieftenbeld and Tesche!

One of my friends who used to live down south (still goes a lot during the year) & is a Yeovil fan reckons this kid is class but obviously that's in league two, he said he's quality on the ball & really got a good eye for a pass. He says he will shine if given the chance.
