I'm quite pleased with this transfer window so cannot quite understand the negativity

Isn't it something like 18 new recruits since the end of last season alone ?? We've also got fees for Frei, Kieftenbeld, Donaldson and Legzdins which is great business by Harry and we also got a hefty chunk from Boro for Shotton too

I am very impressed indeed with the capture of the Brentford trio ( they must have needed the money I presume) especially Jota and I think Vassell will turn out to be a great addition , we managed to keep hold of Che Adams who I seriously thought might be sacrificed for a crazy fee from someone like Hull or Derby and when he recovers from injury and along with Gallagher, I think our goal scoring woes might well be resolved

The key now is for fans to get behind them and give them time to gel

They need the whole month of September to be truly judged and this month actually throws up some very tough fixtures , a trip to Norwich coming up and Norwich have also had a very disappointing start to this campaign as we have ourselves but it's still very much early doors with still 41 games to play

We have home games with Preston and Sheffield Wednesday and trips to Leeds, Derby and Hull so this month's fixtures don't come any tougher but at least we have plenty of formation options to ponder over , the computer gave us only two home games but four away during this current month

October doesn't give us any respite either with the current leaders Cardiff coming to SA , a trip to Millwall and then the big one at home to The Vile

So these two months will make us or break us but let's be patient

Hoping all the new lads will come good and we can climb into the top half of the table by the end of October

KRO

Go away for a few days, come back and see a "massively disappointed" thread about a transfer window where our overall quality in the squad increased tenfold.

Only Blues.

I will agree with one thing, in that our CM position actually got weaker on deadline day letting Kieftenbeld go and not bringing in one of the names Redknapp clearly wanted (with it being Song on deadline day)... but the fact Walsh is a 6 month loan (smacks of a last minute panic deal, but he seems highly regarded) plus Lowe on a 1 year deal indicates he'll look to sort it properly in January.

It's the way of us noses MK unfortunately
:drink:
Glass always half empty etc etc

Personally I delighted we've shown intent in this transfer window with ALL the areas that needed addressing

Let's see what Saturday brings

Yep... and if we lose on Saturday it'll all be doom and gloom, despite all the signings needing to settle in and gel together.

Didn't watch the game yesterday, but from what I've read our cm was very poor and couldnt create or pass the ball well enough.

Jota apparently was poor as was bogs. I didn't realise this but up until January this year Jota was a huge flop at Brentford and was sent out on loan. So we have paid over 6 mill for a player who had a few good months after Christmas?

Boga couldn't get into game and final ball was poor...young players on loan are the unfinished product. Their final ball is usually found wanting in forward positions.

Maghoma left on the bench when he's been our best player.....Donaldson sold for pennies bags 2 goals on debut. Brammal left out of squad with nsue???? If we are going to be creative we need full backs who can get forward surely. Keita gone out on loan....

I fear the worst. Harry has slagged players who are still here. Cotterill, kieftenbeld pretty much all gr and Zola players. Our dressing room must be a wreck. Harry harps on for weeks he wants 3 5 2 and then plays 4 2 3 1.

If we can't see that harry is struggling big time and so are we as a team then we need to take off our blue tinted glasses. Are the players Harry has brought in any better than what we had???? Jota has had 6 decent months, is he any better than frie or fabbrini? Is he better than mags? Is Gallagher any better than juke or Donaldson or Adams? Ndoye is shocking Lowe is shocking. Kid from Everton is a kid. Marc Roberts is average at best.

Sorry harry but you've made a cock up. You've told us all what a great transfer window we've had.......really? All in all we haven't spent much at all when you consider players we've let go of.

Harry is already paving his exit. Read an article about a south American player training with blues at the mo. He mentions vetere has brought him in and if he wants him into he team he's happy with that......

Eventually, soon intact, harry will walk and will say he didn't have a say in signings. That's my prediction anyway
