We could see a few Blues' new boys line up in the squad at Carrow Road Norwich have struggled too at the start of this current campaign and they have conceded three goals or more in three of their last four I wonder if Cameron Jerome (now 31) will line up against us , he's only featured in one game so far Have no idea how Harry will line us up but there's sure to be a few changes and a new looking bench and I reckon we will nick this 2-1 KRO :blues: :blues: |

I will be there (and I hate going to Norwich), and it looks like we will sell this out (should we be all over twitter saying we're the biggest team in the world for selling out our first 3 away games?) I have absolutely NO IDEA how this will go. I'm not used to seeing us do well there, but as stated above, they are in a bit of a mess at the mo... Edited by LUBES, Sep 5 2017, 02:18 PM.

Norwich 1 Blues 3 This is based on 'arry playing 2 wing backs and 3 centre backs and the first time the five will have palyed together so I think we can forgive them one goal conceded. It also assumes Gallagher, Jota and Boga play which is why we'll score three. 1-3 Blues, you heard it here first. **thumbup |

Might take a while for the new players to gel but would be great to hit the ground running. |

Norwich's start to the season has been a bit like ours, so this game is difficult to call. You'd think it'll take a while to get the new look Harry team up to speed but we'll see. First goal will be a big one I think. I hope Jerome doesn't play, always seems to come back and score against us. You'd struggle to predict the starting line up, all I'd guess is that we'll be 3-5-2. I'd like to think Adams will be back fit again, he was back on the grass before international break so hopefully he's all fine now. I'd play this but we'll see when the pre match chats out. Dean will be a shoe in I think, he's been signed to play. Same as for Colin, Jenkinson was obviously going to be first choice but is now out for a couple of months, NSue (I like NSue to be honest) but clearly isn't good enough for Harry so Colin will play I think as he's been signed for that reason. N'Doye isn't ready to play at this level yet, I'd be suprised if Walsh starts. Get Gardner in the deep playmaker role, Davis as the box to box, both roles they can play comfortably. Jota is the easy choice and Adams playing with Gallagher will be a great pairing at this level. Vassell (who is still learning this level) will be a fantastic option off the bench. ----------------Stockdale ------Morrison, Roberts, Dean Colin----------------------------Bramall ------------Davis-----Gardner -------------------Jota -----------Adams-----Gallagher Subs: Kuszczak, Grounds, NSue, N'Doye, Boga, Vassell, Jutkiewicz |

I hope we go there with a balanced but attack focused formation/line up. For me, I cant see 3-5-2 working so It will be hopefully either 3-4-3 or 4-2-3-1. If we go 3-4-3: -------------------Stockdale-------------------- ------Dean-------Morrison------Roberts----------- ---Collin-----N'Doye-------Davis-------Brammall---- --------Jota--------Gallagher------Boga----------- It wouldn't be that bad a formation if a little stunted going forward. Your really only relying on your front three to make things happen. For me though, it's got to be the modern traditional formation of 4-2-3-1: ----------------------Stockdale------------ ------Colin------Dean-----------Roberts-----Grounds---- ----------------N'Doye--------Davis-------------------- -----------Jota--------Gardner----Boga-------- -----------------------Gallagher---------------------- You could make a case for Adams in the Gardner role or even Boga in the centre and Adams out wide left but at least Gardner would be a tad more disciplined without the ball. |

I would go with: ---------------Stockdale-------------- -----Dean----Morrison----Roberts------ --Collin-------N'Doye-------Brammall-- ---------Gardner-----Boga------------- ----------------Jota--------------------- -------------Gallagher------------------ It's interesting - for the first time in a long time I feel we will need to leave out some very good players (like Adams & Vassell if we went with this). It's not easy to pick the team now but in my opinion we must play Jota & Boga - I think they will be head and shoulders above the rest. KRO :blues: |

I don't know mate as I eluded to in my post, however if he was out on the pitch just before the break that's two weeks of "being careful" as it were, so wouldn't surprise me if he's fully fit. No doubt though if he's not he won't be in the squad, can't risk things with hammys, especially a player like Che. Equally I don't know if Vassell is back yet, he is probably more of a doubt then Che imo EDIT: Having seen the training footage from today Che was in full training with the first team, didn't see Vassell anywhere though Edited by mad4theblues, Sep 5 2017, 06:34 PM.

Good time to play Norwich? Probably as it looks from a far they are in that horrible phase "transition". Usually after a team gets done 4-0 you worry about being the next team to play them but having seen their run of results I'm not sure that would be the case here. The big question will be how much we have "gelled" as a team since the new players have come in as there is no doubt now we have the tools to go there and win. Will be interesting if we throw Adams straight back in or if he will be eased back in. Think the likes of Dean, Jota and Colin will all come straight into the team to be honest. |

Tell you what Mad4, I'm amazed at how quickly Adams has recovered Not 100% sure but Isn't it usually 6-8 weeks minimum?? Mind you he's young and I imagine his recovery time compared to an older player is slightly better Chuffed hope he plays a part if fully fit |

Hoping Dean, Colin and Jota all start simply because they know each other's game inside out. I know Harry wants to go 352 but perhaps this should be curtailed whilst the squad gets to know each other. The Norwich fans have bemoaned the new arrivals being thrown in together without anytime to gel. They have struggled massively at the back because of this. I think having Colin and Jota down our right side in a 442 makes perfectly good sense and would mean we have a strong cutting edge on that side of the pitch. I don't believe he will select 3 at the back because he doesn't have quality cover available. As its an away fixture I suspect we might see: Stockdale Colin. Dean. Roberts. Bramhall. Gardner. Walsh. Jota. Adams. Maghoma Gallagher. ... with the strongest bench we have probably ever had. (Koosh, Lowe, Morrison, Grounds, Davies, Boga, Juke). |

i think a of this season will be transitional with all our new players. As long as we can see progress i don't really mind. i think with the January transfer window and next summer, we could be a real force next season. |

I think we are just missing a quality left sided centre back and a creative midfielder and if we could get them in in the January window I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be a force to be reckoned with. |

No I wouldn't say so, Redknapp isn't trying to suddenly change the whole club on and off the pitch, Norwich have completely changed the whole backroom staff, support staff, management and DOF. Plus they trying to (dare I say it) do a Zola and completely change the way they play. While I agree with lots of new signings you could argue we are in a sort of transition but Redknapp said himself thats it's all about success this season. I have no doubts and if you listen to Redknapp I think its clear if we don't go up this season he won't be here next season Edited by mezz20, Sep 6 2017, 03:13 PM.

I don't know why people think Boga came from Chelsea to sit on our bench, when he's inches away from their first team. I also don't know why people think Adams will keep Boga out the team. Lol. |

I am treating this with no preconceived idea of what who or how we are going to play. I am going to the game just excited about Harry putting a team out pretty much of his choosing and style of play. It has been a long long time since I have felt like this. All the talk of he should play and what the best formation is does not interest me to be honest, not until I see how they shape up under Harry. None of us know how the guys are going to perform so a complete open mind and blank canvas. However very very excited. |
