An article in the Birmingham Mail shows how much Harlee Dean appreciates the opportunity he has had being a professional footballer and how non league football taught him that:

"It is about giving everything, not leaving anything on the pitch. I play each game as my last because you never know when it could be. People pay good money to watch you play football - and I am privileged to play football, so I am not going to take it for granted and fob it off. Not during the week training, not during the game. I give 100 per cent and that’s the minimum requirement for me."

I also like this quote about what he feels playing competitive non league football taught him:

“It taught me the importance of results rather than the way a lot of youngsters are brought up these days - fancy football, making it look good but not really effective. Being in the non-league you got kicked, you got elbowed, you got sent off, you got everything."

A good read:

Hopefully a few of the others in the dressing room might read it too...

He's the leader Redknapp was talking about.

Still shocked as to how we got Jota and Dean for £8m combined. I thought they'd be at least double that and totally out of reach.

Harlee could step up to the PL imo, well, it looks like he may well do that with us!
