For you maybe but for me winning at any cost does not attract new fans. We desperately need to be getting young kids born in the west mids to be supporting blues. Playing attractive football imo should help us in that aim.

Let's not forget why the board sacked GR.

We should also not forget how our gates dropped off after several season battling to stay the n the Prem. Our fans don't like watching us set up not to lose.

lol who cares how we played, we lost 2-0?

we haven't played well since Gary Rowett guided us to TWO top 10 finishes in a row, and has us in 3rd the third year before getting sacked.

who gives a flying **** how it looks. winning is all that matters.
This new team has had two games,

Against norwich, we lost and didn't look a threat.

Against Leeds, we lost but put in a good performance against arguably the best team in the league at the minute.

It could have easily ended differently on another day,

The thing is, many people have said let the team gel, and they were much more cohesive on Tuesday night, I believe in the next few games we will start to get results.

If we consistently play well and fail to get a result then fair enough, but I'm just saying give it a few more games as we have changed this side quite drastically

I'd happily pay to watch us lose 2-0 as long as the football is "majestic"

Just remind me again, how many points do you get in football for style again?
...or you can have the most dire boring football ever seen and still get relegated (twice). McDross.

Agreed and in recent seasons remind how many sides who play dire football have actually got promoted.....?

Its about finding that middle ground of being solid tough but also play good football to win games

I watched Claptons link this morning and the one thing I noticed was that the Leeds defence were on it all the time, either up with play or ahead of the game where we were not as efficient or productive. There seemed to be a bit of the left and right hand going on, all part of the learning process.

Exactly, I made this point earlier.

No disrespect to anyone here but when we're saying we totally dominated it makes me think.... what?

We passed the ball around nicely. Our defence dominated what exactly? Because it looked to me as if they were dominated by Saiz and Dallas when they got caught napping.

Passing around makes you good at one element of a game. I'm afraid that if the defence continues to be as weak as it has been, we aren't going to win games, guys...

Harry needs to be giving himself and the players a rocket. He's signed 14 players, spent £20m and there's been a few nice passes. Not good enough. A win only is required on Saturday. Glad the tabloids are cranking up the pressure, this isn't a retirement home.

Nice 10 minute highlights clip with good commentary BCFCs marketing/media could learn a thing or two.

Explain why we couldn't fill the ground then in the last few seasons in the prem?

because we weren't winning in the premier league, we got relegated..

the attendance for the premier league matches was still a hell of a lot more than we're getting in the championship, and 30-60k whatever the exact number was went to Wembley to watch an Alex McLeish led team.

people like winners, that's all that matters...

supporters can hide under the guise of wanting attractive football, and that's fine if you can play attractive and win. but all that matters is that you win. in golf they say, there are no pictures on the scorecard. the casual fan/potential supporter you alluded to won't care how we're playing, he'll look at the score sheet and see if we won or not

Dross, dross and more dross. That's why I was one of those many thousands that stopped going because of McDross.

Looks like some good football was played on those highlights. Jota and Boga look brilliant.

Shame it means naff all when your defence is softer than a baby's bum.
