So many folk on here have stated they watched the game. How?

I thought live games on Blues tv was only for overseas subscribers? And don't say they were at the game because they weren't. Am I missing something? feed.back

I know you was at the game Joe, I saw the video evidence. **thumbup

Streaming games live on FB? Call me an ageing dinosaur but isn't that illegal? and if so why doesn't this guy get done?
Also if it's live on FB why have our overseas fans forked out good money for bad streaming Blues tv when they can get it for free on FB?

Yeah it is, it will probably get taken down eventually but not too sure to be honest

I assume the quality of it is poor tbh, not seen it but I'm guessing someone is recording it from the stands?

Apparently there was a stream going round that worked well which came from the Leeds side of things as it was of LeedsTV and had their commentators etc.

I dont know where you get your information from because the stream quality is excellent. there may have been some initial technical issues but the quality is excellent.

I watched the game live online from the Leeds TV channel. It was very good quality, with several camera angles and replays. They did a great job of it.

I had the BBC WM FM frequency commentary on Freeview at the same time in case the stream went down, I worked out the picture on my laptop screen was about 30 seconds behind the radio commentary.

The leeds TV site did go down just before half time for about 5 minutes but after the 2nd half started it was fine.

Hope I'm not upsetting the mods or breaking any rules on this new indie Blues Forum but you can normally get Blues games via UKTV Ustream or Face book.

I had never done Face book but did register this season only to catch a Blues away game or the occasional home game that I canot get to (if there is a stream that is. It's not every game that is streamed in my experience)

I tried the BluesTV channel for the pre-season friendlies and the quality of picture and constant dropping out was very frustrating in fact it was complete rubbish so I didn't bother parting with my dosh to have it installed as I have a season ticket again for this season even though I cannot attend every home game.

When it is working the quality is excellent although it wasn't so good for the Leeds match ... a lot of pixelation on full screen.

But I won't complain after the problems of the first two weeks when there were real issues.

I watched on BluesTV, and have watched every minute of every game this year that way as well.

I'd say it has it's ups and downs for sure, whoever is heading the operation is VERY amateur. I may be overly picky on the subject, because I literally do this as my profession, but the quality of service is probably not worth the $150USD I am paying.

However, without BluesTV I wouldn't be able to watch any games, and my interest in BCFC usually fades during the fall (NFL season here in USA), but this year I've been able to keep up with both sports and it's been great.

Like I said the quality isn't great. The Leeds game was not a good representation, that was the worst production the club has put on yet. It was so pixelated that the screen looked like a watercolor painting. I'll chalk that one up to being an away game and probably not being provided the best of circumstances. The other quality of streams have been fine, nothing great, but not poor enough to cancel my subscription.

After MONTHS of emailing poor Rachele and the club complaining that the production value was ****, they FINALLY got the time and score displayed over their feed, and it's made it much easier to follow. There are pretty much ZERO replays and they only use ONE CAMERA (my other complaints, which apparently will get better over the year) which is extremely amateur if you ask me. I was directing games as a college student and using multiple cameras, using replays, etc. It isn't very hard. But obviously BCFC went the cheap route. The equipment isn't the best (they're obviously not outputting at a 1080HD resolution) and whoever they hired to run the production is pretty poor at directing and producing, and whoever set up the website is pretty poor as well because the BluesTV isn't exactly neatly organized to watch content.

BUT...
As I said, it's good enough for me to not cancel my subscription. I get to follow BCFC where I ordinarily would not. Instead of watching 5 matches per year, I'll get nearly 50. So to me it's worth not using some sketchy 3rd party website that's probably stealing all of my personal information (I definitely use those sites when necessary, just not my favorite choice)

The Leeds match was the ugliest stream we've seen, but it'd be unfair to use that one as the barometer. They're normally better than that... The quality of the other streams have been "fine". I would guess they are your standard cheap SD resolution, which millions of people deal with. Not the worst, not the best.

haha, like a proper club should... that is awesome

Just clicking through it, the production value is great. has graphics, multiple cameras, replays. it looks like you're watching a game on television with real production value. that's what I thought we'd be paying for as BluesTV subscribers.

I wish people from the club would look at streams like that from other clubs. Villa had a great stream too.

So for people who aren't able to see BluesTV, to compare it to the Leeds one... I'd give Leeds like a 7.5 for their stream, whereas the standard BluesTV is probably a 4.5. BluesTV actually has a better quality picture (usually) than that stream from Leeds, which also reassures me something was tougher with their ground to get a good picture because that Leeds picture looks pretty bad too. And Leeds doesn't have a time display, just score. But like I said, Leeds has some great graphics, multiple cameras, close up shots, replays, and a director who knows what he is doing. It's a nice production. BluesTV has none of that. Just one camera that (poorly at times) tries to keep up with the ball for the most part.

That's the best I could compare them for anyone interested in BluesTV
