Harry Redknapp says Vassell is back in training and may make the bench on Saturday.

Quote:

Vassell is available for Saturday, " continued Redknapp. “He trained this morning but he won’t be available for 90 minutes. If he’s okay and there’s no reaction he’ll be on the bench. You’ve got to be careful because if you get a hamstring and you play before you’re ready and you tear it and you can be out for months, so I have to listen to the medical people and they feel that maybe 30 or 35 minutes would be about the maximum for him.”

In the following article he discusses our recent spate of hamstring injuries and says that the players are doing the stretches and everything else required and he has full confidence in our fitness coaches. He puts it down to a spell of bad luck.

Yes, in the article he said he's hoping they are just strains but that, even so, it would mean them being out for about 4 weeks. Obviously, it will be longer if they are tears.
