Harry Redknapp in the Birmingham Mails reveals that Blues turned down a £10m bid from an unnamed club for Che Adams. He said Blues are no longer a selling club and this was reinforced by Adams signing a new five year deal.

Good shout when did they sign Wells was that deadline day?

Can't see anyone in the Champ offering 10mil on deadline day, the clubs that have that cash had already spent it on forwards

Good to see that we are not a selling club! (for now!)

Tired of us selling our best players for peanuts

Nope.

Gary R went to Derby knowing their NEW RESTRAINTS on Transfer Fees.
No Longer huge spenders !

£10 mill on ONE player is beyond Derby's ability nowadays...prob like most Championship sides.

If HRs comments are true, :ph43r:

Then it's a Lower-Level Prem side.... anyone that could combine that dosh on the future income.

As we are guessing ..... :LMAO:

I'd say, it was Pullis at the Baggies.

He Thinks he's a Transfer-Wizard...insulted us about Jack Butland...then Gards....BOTH ABOUT MONEY....£10 mill about a moderate fee for a small-time-prem-club

like....

If we would have had that 10 million to spend I'd have sold to be fair

Be interesting to see if he ever gets fully fit, we're not pushing for promotion and they come knocking again in Jan whether we will be able to fight them off again

Until we're back up in the top-flight, we've got to remember that we are just a feeder club for the bigger fish in the Premier League to pick off our prize assets. Butland, Redmond, Gray etc etc

Adams won't stay with us for 5 years unless we get back up in the Prem - you would be a fool to think otherwise

Only natural that his head will be turned and he'll want to prove himself and reap the rewards of playing at a higher level

Personally I think 10 mill would be a good deal considering the peanuts we have accepted before

It was a deal worth upto 7 million, as mentioned Derby don't have the cash to burn they had to let 2 people go just to make room for Kieftenbeld.

Rowett has been quite public that the days of big spending at Derby are over
