From the Mirror:

Quote:

A gambling firm has apologised after it allowed customers to bet on a dead former footballer becoming a manager.

Paddy Power briefly advertised odds of 66/1 on ex-Aston Villa and England defender Ugo Ehiogu taking charge of rivals Birmingham, following the sacking of manager Harry Redknapp on Saturday.

They claim it was a mistake, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was deliberate. Paddy Power's have a reputation for being controversial and distasteful.

Just like Ryan Air.

There's something about these Irish companies. Oh no, don't say we're going to get Irish owners next. :o

When I win the Lottery, I'll buy Birmingham City. I'll be changing the shirts to green, though :)

I agree about Ryanair, though. They, particularly a good few years ago now, were known for tasteless advertising. Probably the same advertising company behind them...

I think it's more to their bad ownership/leadership ie O'Leary and Power. Fortunately I don't bet and I don't fly with no frills airlines, so they don't get any money or encouragement from me.

Looking forward to you winning the lottery Bart. **thumbup
