There were two threads over the weekend regarding Fulham Villa. The first was in non-Blues Chat and another followed in Blues Chat. Only a sprinkling of people posted in the non-Blues chat thread. It's so obvious that most folk do not look anywhere else but Blues Chat.

Yesterday I started a thread asking if anyone follows the Bears (Warwickshire CCC). I deliberately put in Blues Chat because it was a question I was putting to all members of this forum and as we can see the majority only look at Blues Chat. Sadly this thread has been moved to General Chat and will get no responses in there (you might as well have deleted it)

Can I ask we look at less sections. I would suggest Blues, non-Blues and General...and have them all together. Also as the summer is generally quiet, perhaps we could let all sporting threads go in Blues chat.

There were hundreds of active posters when I first started on here and the format suited those numbers. Now there are not so many and so perhaps we could streamline the forum.

It was me that moved your thread. It certainly isn't Blues chat. Having said that i do understand your frustration. We have recently discussed streamlining the forum.

One suggestion was to have just 2 forums, Football chat, which would include Blues chat etc. And non Football chat which would include everything else. Or Sports Chat and non sports chat. We haven't decided yet whether or not to go this route.

But i will bring it up with the rest of the Admin team. I tend to agree, maybe it is time to move on this.

Any other suggestions from the forum members are welcome.

I agree - traffic on here is so slow and small nowadays - before all the forums were readily being used daily - now if you moved the 'silly game' thread general is used prob less than once a day

I disagree a little here. The membership contribution has picked up a bit over the past couple of months. I agree with your silly game thread comment though. People see that the silly game thread is at the top and go straight past general chat.

Iím one of those who doesnít look past the silly game topic, laziness I guess. I think also the close season has something to do with footfall on here. I prefer this site to all of the others as genuinely I believe that there is a good mix of views and well argued discussions. Personally I would prefer just three sections, Blues, other sports and everything else.. and when there is something major happening like the World Cup or the Ryder cup or olympics an ad hoc section could be added..I donít use the silly game thread so I am personally not that bothered about it, clearly there are those that do post on it so a separate section for that I guess would keep everyone happy..

Itís a shame but since the Club distanced itself from these forums then footfall has fallen, I still view this site as my first port of call for all things Blues however and long may this continue. **thumbup
