How amusing to see the truth suddenly dawn on our scouse chums!

After all of his disgraceful antics all it's taken is the mention of the word 'Arsenal' to make them see what Suarez is all about.

The player has displayed a total lack of integrity over a number of years at a number of clubs both Nationally & Internationally.

Biting opponents, diving, racially abusing, celebrating a missed penalty that he conceded - he totally lacks honour and respect. We can now add to that his latest deceitful conduct designed to engineer a cut price move abroad.

Arsenal supporters shouldn’t get excited, Suarez has no intention of moving to London, he’s just twisting the knife to make Liverpool get rid ASAP.

Suarez is a very talented player who in my opinion is worth more than the £50 million asking price. What a shame he’s such a plank.

Suarez will end up at Real Madrid.

Said it from the moment he made clear he wanted out... Real have just been waiting for Higuain to end up leaving... whether that was to Arsenal as rumoured.. or now, Napoli, which he has done, for £34.5m.

I really cant see the Bale deal happening for them, so they'll turn their attentions back to Suarez nearer the end of the window, when Liverpool are forced to lower their price as its clear Suarez has no intentions of staying or playing for them.

Suarez may be showing a total lack of integrity, but so did the club in the way they supported him over two inexcusable suspensions......

That's why it is so funny watching how that blind loyalty is now being thrown back in their face.

"Liverpool Wake Up" is the thread title.

What Liverpool FC and it's fans should wake up to is the fact they are no longer a big club with the elite. More and more they are becoming Villaesque, wallowing in historical achievemnets and thinking they are still big today.

I used to like Liverpool until they blagged their way into the 2005/06 Champions League competion. Talk about a lack of dignity. They basically stamped their feet until they got what they wanted. Shame on them, and shame on UEFA for giving in to them...

No, Des. At that time, winners did not automatically qualify, and so because they finished outside of the top four in the league they did not qualify. They moaned and whined that because they had such a good record in the European Cup / Champions League in the past, it would be a shame if they weren't allowed to defend it. So UEFA bent their own rules and allowed England five representatives in the Champions League (even if Liverpool had to start in Qualifying Round One).
The fact is, they should not have been allowed, they blagged their way in.
