http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/west-bromwich-albion/10259885/Nicolas-Anelka-leaves-West-Bromwich-Albion-and-could-retire-from-football-completely.html

Nicolas Anelka cleared out his locker at West Bromwich Albion's training ground on Thursday and declared he is leaving the Hawthorns, less than two months after signing as a free agent.

Update from West Brom:

WEST Bromwich Albion can confirm that Nicolas Anelka will not be involved in Saturday’s game at Everton.
The club have excused the striker from club duty on compassionate grounds.

Well hes just living up to his nametag again LE SULK
I could understand if it was a family member or if he asked for compassionate leave but from what i just read he wanted out asap :copno: thats not a normal thing to do
I have never really liked the player tbh as where ever he has gone he thought he was bigger than the club he played for
