Norwich losing to the Vile and he takes redmond off who had been playing so well.

Home crowd hated that and boos rang out followed by ' you don't know what your doing'

Final whistle and the same followed.

I did like Chris but he over thinks and makes some shocking sub decisions at times. He will not last the season.

I didn't think he was having a great game tbh. He got caught in possession a few times. All about opinions I guess.

Loved him when he was with us . But hate him now. Used and abused us. Also stole the lad from us too.

So you wouldn't move to a well supported premier league club if you were managing a championship club heading for financial meltdown/falling attendences/best players being sold?

And I'm pretty sure redmond was going to the premier league no matter who it was, but I guess he chose Norwich cause of Chris Hughton.

Chris was brilliant for us, got us playing fantastic football, finished fourth & were VERY unlucky not qualify for the europe league knockout stages!

Stop being so petty.

I think people forget the fact that they are not blues fans i.e managers, most players,so of cause they will want to play/manage at the top isnt that what most people do in there jobs to try and get to the top *paper*

Also forgot to add that there is NO loyalty in football these days its every man for themselves, not like the good old days when footballers played because they loved a club they were at and not seeing ££££££££££ flashed in front of them

Wont forget the job he done here, to qualify us for the Europa group stages, and get us top 4 in the Championship... after losing 30 odd players and only being able to spend about £800k-£1m (which only went on 2 players)... it was superb.

It was obvious we were a stepping stone for him, and he rebuilt his reputation with us, and got a good move to Norwich, and I didnt begrudge him that.

What I didnt like was how he came back, picked off all our staff, and hoped to get them cheap... and then came back and stole Redmond for nothing as he knew how desperate we were, more so than other clubs.

Yes MK i agree with you he done a terrific job here but as my points above show he or any recent manager dont give a flying duck about our club,if they see assets they will take but thats what football is all about these days im afraid :(

The only loyalty comes from us fans.

Owners, Players, Managers all fekk off eventually.

I don't blame Hughton for targetting our backroom staff and Redmond.
I blame our board for letting them go so so cheapley......

According to todays Daily (don't believe a word) Mirror Norwich manager Chris Hughton could face the sack if the Canaries are beaten at Stoke on Sunday.

Hughton position at Norwich is not necessarily safe then, how fickle boards of directors can be, let alone fans. Having money to spend isn't a guarantee that success will follow. As a club Norwich must think they should be top 6-9 in the Prem.

If the sack does happen I wish him well at his next club.

Hughton is/was a Judas

Same as McLeish and Bruce.......at least SB and AM gave us more than one season ....and the pair of them stayed with Blues after two relegations......2006 and 2008

TF was the last manager we had who was truly loyal to BCFC

Barry Fry would have probably stayed with us for a lifetime as well

Unfortunately we never got the chance to see how TF or Fry would have performed at the top level although I do believe Fry was out of his depth even in the 2nd tier

So if you leave, you're a Judas, and if you get sacked you're loyal?

Of all the managers you've named I'd only classify AMc as a "Judas", and that's simply down to the vile he ABANDONED us for.

Blues were an opportunity for Hughton to prove he was a capable manager, he did a decent job, was offered a better opportunity at a higher level managing a likable club, and he took it. Fair play... Seems more pragmatic than anything else.

And really how much loyalty is to be expected from a person on a semi-permanent type rolling contract?

Hughton was only with us a season and he was building something good ....and let's not forget we had rescued the unfair reputation he acquired from his Newcastle days

I don't consider Norwich to be a bigger club than us although their support is outstanding considering the small rural city they represent

He's facing the sack himself now.......Hughton was a Cockney and if he had gone to a London club (i.e West Ham, Fulham or QPR) It would have been more understandable and I'd be more forgiving

He should have given Blues at least 3 seasons ........Then move on if he desired

So I form the opinion of him being a Judas because he never gave us time and simply used us as a stepping stone (Hughton was proverbially giving us the two fingers)....... ....despite the off field shenanigans ......it's like building a house and then only finishing one or two walls before you abandon it and let another builder take over

The club is still operating, a takeover seems more and more likely ......and we have another manager named Clark who filled CH's spot

McLeish is the 'Judas' as you say for going to the Vile (I agree).......but even we BlueNoses cannot argue they are one of the big names in the PL when it comes to attracting good managers and it's a job few would turn down (Roberto Martinez excepted)........The Martinez rejection however does prove they don't have the clout they did when Deadly Doug was in charge

Bruce was a Judas because he publicly slagged off the people that paid him handsomely and had given him more managerial lives than your average Cheshire cat (Sullivan, Gold and Brady) and he had the audacity to bleed the club financially with image rights which was laughable in itself and he also manipulated the media to cover his tracks as he cunningly painted himself as the victim and even falsely used the potential Carson Yeung takeover as a clever way out, the fact remained that when he finally built his own squad of players he was seen as suspect, tactically niave and perhaps out of his depth ......and he then rubbed salt in the wound by moving to.....Wigan.....yeah !! Freakin' Wigan For Gawd's Sake

Without the obvious bias towards Blues, remove it from this upcoming decision and put yourself in Chris' shoes..

1. Stay at a club in financial turmoil, knowing you'll be selling off any talent you have, and signing frees and loans only.

or

2. Move to a very financially stable Premier League club, trying to establish themselves in that division.

It's a no brainer and was for Chris too

Really? More fans, more money & are trying to establish themselves in the premier league.

What are we doing? Buying frees/loans, struggling to get into the top half of the championship with relegation being a possibility & administration looming.

Chris is no Judas. Norwich are a bigger club. Think about what you're saying?

Think about what you're saying

Historically Blues have always pulled in more support than Norwich City and have spent many more seasons in the top flight than they have......during the mid 50's Blues were a top division top half club......Norwich were mere tinkers in the old 3rd Div .....and Norwich were on the brink of serious financial ruin themselves not that long ago......Cue the arrival of Delia and co (Let's be having you)

As for trying to establish one's self in the Premier League

Blues have had no less than 3 attempts at that in only the last decade or so......around 2004 we were pulling 28K gates whilst in the PL .......of course clubs who win promotion to the PL are going to try and invest on the playing side if not just to consolidate their position.....that's a no brainer

I'm simply saying Blues invested in Chris Hughton, put faith in him and gave him work.......he could have been more loyal to us
