swinging the lead; excuses for having a day off

I can't understand why you would want to swing the lead, if you're self employed.

Surely, if you're self employed and you don't work. Then you don't get paid. Unless you're on a contract basis, but then surely the sooner you finish the contract, the sooner you can get on with the next one.

Speaking as an ex employer. I certainly wouldn't employ anyone that was unreliable, because then my income would slip.

Stop skiving and get back to work. Let your family enjoy the benefits of your income, before you cease to have any.

Incorrect, it was a post originated by myself and not Lewis / Lewis .
At the time if memory serves correctly i was unable to log in using my account and created a temporary account.
