Steve Bruce has said that Heskey will be missing for tomorrow's visit to Old Trafford and that Morrison may partner Pandiani up front....bold move, i thought he might have gone with the 4-5-1 formation with Blake just behind Pandiani....

also seems we're due to offer Morrison a new contract in the summer....

I think this is a sensible move - if we are planning to get a point there we will need to score I think.

Looking forward to seeing what Pandiani can do against Brown and Ferdinand, (Silvestre is suspended I heard). ;)

yup, if we sit back and defend I think we are gonna get absolutely mullered, we'll have to push up and try and keep the ball as best we can, maybe even hitting them on the break on the wings.

Seriously doubt a 0-0 is on the cards this time, but itd be absolutely geat if we get something outta this game.

Thank goodness for the january transfer window is all I can say!!! I've just read the prematch and it says that Anderton, Heskey and possibly Blake are out as well- what a bloomin' nightmare!!! Have we got the worst luck in the league for injuries or are we doing something wrong in training?????

I don't think we should go anywhere looking to get a draw any more, at least when we've a fully fit squad - speculate to accumulate.

Anyway how many times have clubs like Bolton and Fulham gone to old Trafford and taken the game to ManU and come back with something.

Admin confirmed earlier that Heskey was out and that Pandiani would be playing with Mozza, and that Nafti would get his start as well. Looking at the injuries I am not suprised!

Diao, Andeton, Izzet, Laz, Dunn, Heskey and Clemences wife having a baby!

Thank god we got the loan signings in when we did.

Looks like being Carter and Nafti in midfield then or DJ and Nafti.

I agree with that, now we are virtually safe from relegation we should go out to win every single game and play a bit more cavalier. Lets see if we can upset a few teams in the coming weeks.

I think man u may just be too strong for us with the form they are in and it being at old trafford but i strongly fancy us to complete a superb double 6 point haul over Liverpool.

The same can be said about Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelski and Portsmouth all got the same amount if not more injuries (Liverpool). I don't think its the training, its just one of those things.

I hope SB does get us to attack. Pressure, in their faces from KO

I saw a brief bit of an interview with melchiot on sky sports news, talking about giggs. Melchiot said nothing of being with holland at the w/end. I hope too, that we go to Old Trafford and take the game to Manure. 'Best form of defence is attack' an all that. You just never know.............................

There's a theory where I sit on the Kop that it could be the training ground surface....
Ever since we moved to Wast Hills we seem to be blighted with injuries....
Particularly hamstring!
