From the Vile website today... Derby revenge?

'what are these people on about? does anyone actually think we are gonna go to the sty and win? the blosers have strengthened well in the window while we only bought in djemba. we are so crap away from home so whats the villa think we will go to that sh*thole and 'get revenge'? we cant buy a away win and we certainly wont do it at the sty. im not looking forward to the game one bit. is anyone gonna bother going after them morons upped the prices?'

I must admit having a look at the comments they appear to have accepted that they aint going to beat us at St Andrews (The sty) and are cra*pping themselves - even so they still seem to delude themselves that they are a better, bigger side than we are....

Its funny to see them worrying so much yet still contesting that they are such a big club but we cant afford to be complacent, everyone knows form etc goes flying out the window for derby games and a win is nowhere near a certainty.

Needless to say everyone is gonna give their all this match and hopefully we will keep our clean sheet against the villains

Im sure the vile will fans will be saying for the 6th time now that 'this time they will beat us' (YAWN!!)

But i should imagine inside they will very concerned considering their away record and recent history against us.

Also taking into account the fact we considerably improved our squad in the transfer window it all points to another Blues victory.

My biggest concern is complacency from us, just because we never loose to vile we are not invincable and cannot just take victory for granted.

One thing im sure of is if you offered vile & their fans a draw before the game they would snap your hand off.

Taking into account that (and this is a true fact!) the ground that Vile Park now resides on used to be (at least part of it anyway) used to be the vegetable garden associated with Aston Hall I think we ought to call it The Cabbage Patch.

Once a vegetable patch allways a vegetable patch.

Every single time we've played them I've heard nothing but a load of shiote about how this time they're going to batter us and it just makes it all the more fun to ram up their arses when we do win. Don't get cocky and assume the game is won before it's played - Blues don't talk about it, we do it on the pitch in the derbies, and I hope we do again.

i have a weird feeling that this is going to be a different affair, i hope and pray we win but our run has to end at some point, hopefully not this season...i'd be happy with a draw

It doesn't have to end...

If our players play with the right motivation (Steve knows how to do that) then we can turn them over, we're at home and they only have a "small squad"

Dumber-Dumber isn't anything to be scared of and he's the only player to be added

Lets hope the players do not think that Villa cant win this game, lets face it when we went to their place nobody gave us a chance, we had no form, they had not lost at home all season. Derbies are unique and its usually the team that wants it more on the day that comes through.

I have to agree with you blooboy but I pray that we win, I live with three villa fans and my life would be made a nightmare (on the other hand if we win!!!!!!!!) :D

Why all the doubts that we will win? We out played and out classed Villa by a mile in december and we will do it again.

If JLLoyd Samuel could not cope with DJ, then what he is going to do with Pennant?(assuming we still have him by then). I cant see the Villa defence - which has been ravaged by injury dont forget ;) - coping with an on form Pandiani.

Here's to another 3 points against the Villa - where is that "cheers" smiley when you need it!

I watched the Vile Arsenal Game, where Arsenal should have been into double figures but missed a series of sitters. Their defence was simply ripped to shreds. That should get rid of any doubts. ;) Just beware of complacency.
