The muppets on there at the mo, reckon Southampton should get the three points from the game on Wed night, because we have fielded an illegal player. If we don't give them the three points then at leat the game should be re played. Whatever.

Its not out fault Tottenham processed 100s pieces of paper minutes before the deadline, and clogged the fax machine.

A bit of common sense is needed here, and for once the FA seemed to have shown it.

To be fair to Micky Quinn he's like sack the FA, its not Bhams fault.

The gutter press have sniffed a story with a tinge of embarassment to someone, to be honest at the minute doesn`t seem like anyone is really bothered about the story. Seems like common sense may provail.

They are saying Harry Redknapp is going to add his 2 pennies worth tomorrow......

And it's not the FA, but the premier league that has buggered up.

Ok, they have finished stiring it up now.

But apparently if Southampton go down according to Arry Redknapp, it will be our fault (and not Peter Crouch who in the last minute decided to take a crap shot at goal, instead of taking the ball into the corner, for Everton to go on and score).

Whatever

No i like the idea that we put Southampton down in February!

So far in the Prem we've relegated a few (Sunderland, West Ham etc) and now we've put Southampton down as well - well done Blues!

Luckly the Ashley Cole tapping up scandle has pushed Pandiani out of the news. Unless the press kick up a real stink I cant see there even being an investigation.

I have always liked Harry but he is totally wrong on this, as far as Blues were concerned the player was not an illegal player, we had clearence from the premier league and we had international clearance so why would Blues think there was a problem. Its strange how these things get to the press, unless the reporter was there at 5 past midnight it suggest somebody from inside the prenier league has leaked this to stir up trouble.

Harry Redknapp feels Southampton have grounds for protest, if reports Walter Pandiani signed for Birmingham City after the transfer deadline prove to be correct.
Blues pushed through a loan deal late on transfer deadline day for Pandiani, but reports on Sunday suggested the paperwork was ratified after the midnight deadline.
A Premier League spokesman confirmed the move was finalised after the deadline, but was sanctioned due to an error with the fax machine at their headquarters.
Pandiani made a sparkling debut, scoring in Birmingham's 2-1 win over Southampton, and Redknapp believes the Football Association need to look into the claims he signed after the deadline.
Redknapp fielded an ineligible player against Aston Villa in the League Cup in 2000 and saw his side bow out after the authorities ordered a replay.
The Saints chief believes there are similarities and is looking for The FA to step in.
"I played Manny Omoyinmi for a couple of minutes against Villa in the League Cup a few years ago - there isn't a great deal of difference," he told The Sun.
"We had to replay the game because he'd already played for someone else. What's the difference this time?
"This could effectively decide who is relegated and who's not.
"He played against Man United and hit the bar. I wish the bloody ball had gone in and Birmingham had sneaked a point.
"If United's power was behind a protest as well, it would be very interesting."

Most times I like Harry Redknapp, but this time I have to say he is clutching at straws. The FA said that the move was santioned and I am sure that they imformed the Premier League officials that it was authorised as there was a problem with the fax machine.

Redkanpp is comparing this to when he fielded an illegable player against Villa - the big difference here is that Pandiani is not an illegable player. The move recieved FA clearance and he recieved his international clearance so what is the problem.

The Sun are stirring up trouble as well as they have reported it today. Do we know what the official club stance is on this yet?
