May I just point out, #98 is not me.

I didn't sign the first one and have no intention of signing the 2nd one either.

Lots of racist comments here. These guys will see Mr Bowyer as their talisman. I WAS right to sign the "no" petition

Some of these are just terrible they may be sarcastic or just plain rascist, do people really think a player will even think about signing if he reads some of the comments

I was disgusted reading some of those comments. I wonder whether it is genuine blues fans or fans of other clubs 'jumping on the bandwagon'. Whichever, the comments should be deleted. Who started the petition?

I was just as disgusted seeing a 'so-called' petiton that questioned the efforts of our manager and board of directors trying to bring in an international player (bad reputation or not) that would improve the overall squad

To me,NONE of those who signed that petition should ever set foot inside St Andrews and to me,NOT ONE are genuine Blues fans

You can't stop a few mindless 'bods' signing an internet petiton but I'm convinced by judging a 'retaliatory' petition that outnumbered and outvoted the original by almost 2 to 1 already that at least the vast majority of REAL Blues fans are speaking out

Keep right on

Last time I looked there were 201 votes in the yes petition, and 230 in the no. Hardly 2:1 in favour, eh?

Surely most sensible and mature people (and our board and manager have certainly proved to be both) will realise that any petition over the internet is not going to give a true reflection of feelings - they are too easy to manipulate.
I for one have not or would not sign any of the on-line petitions, although as somebody else said, I have no problem giving my opinion of a forum such as this, via a quick poll etc.
If anybody seriously wants to run any sort of petition that is representative of the true fans of Birmingham City Football Club, then they need to do it on match day, outside the ground!
That said, I am a little bit surprised at DS for his comments about this on-line petition. Yes, he is obviously disappointed with the negative publicity, but I can't believe for one minute that he, SB or Lee Bowyer would blame a few (IMO small minded) people, expressing their (possibly strong) opinions in this way.
Whether we sign him or not (and it REALLY doesn't matter to me either way!), I will be giving my full support to the WHOLE board, management team AND the entire squad of players come season start.

No but at least it shows that Blues fans who understand the game of football are slowing coming around in numbers

That's fine and dandy. Next time you post, though, could you be a little less loose with your facts please?
