Tony Mowbray sacked by Middlesboro tonight. Only 2 months in and they're stacking up in the lower leagues already, could be a record year for dismissals.

Deserved to go. Thought he would of gone at the end of last year, so fair play to the Board for sticking with him at the start of the season.

They're not a bad side, if they can find a decent manager they could challenge for top 6.

Tony like has gone down divisions faster than Acrington ...and he's never re-surfaced like.

He is now into "Pay-Off" mode, because he can't deliver and the 'Football Manager's Association'
will threaten "this and that"--to get him a pay-off.

Like Bond and others imo like he will reap rewards from a fractured and obscene financial system.

Footie UK.

Payment for FAILURE

Where do you ever get this outside of financial institutions ?

Like Banks?

:D

Think it's further proof that ex players (especially popular ones as Mowbray was with Boro) don't always made good managers at the same club

Remember when we unceremoniously dumped Trevor ?

No surprise at Holloway being given his cards at Palace last week

Just pray he's not available if we ever look for a new manager in the not too distant future

Cannot believe some on here even touted for Holloway .....If you think LC is bad, don't take a gamble on a loud mouthed, arrogant prima donna like Holloway

As for the next manager on his bike in the Championship ........I reckon Dave Jones at Sheffield Wednesday, Dougie Freedman at Bolton or Chris Powell at Charlton lead the pack (Powell is another one managing a club he was a player for over a long period)

In the PL take your pick on several contenders for an exit before the transfer window opens at the end of the year

Lambert (Vile)
Hughton (Norwich)
Mackay (Cardiff City)
Allardyce (West Ham)
Pardew (Newcastle)
Jol (Fulham)
Hughes (Stoke)

Moysie (Man United) ......if they continue their poor run

Boy....this footy game is fickle
