Some of the short-listed managers & players are a complete joke, for example; Arsene Wenger, Jose Mourinho & Rafa Benitez - What on earth have these managers done to be candidates for the best manager on the planet this year? Having Eden Hazard on the player shortlist too is laughable. There are far too many candidates, as only a handful of the shortlist have any chance/reason to win the thing. There are no managers on there who have achieved great things with small clubs, like Swansea. Kinda sums up how blind the big, wealthy clubs & FIFA are to the rest of the footballing world! It drives me mad how Real Madrid, Barcelona & Man Utd can all be in huge swamps of debt & are still able to spend millions on players, whereas my local non-league club, Hinckley Town are being wound-up/going out of business because of a 187k debt. Why did Leicester City FC not help them out? It's a free-for-all in the footballing world. Nobody is willing to help anybody it seems. Inequality in football is destroying the game. I am just so glad my dad taught me to support a proper football club, and not the bleedin' top 4!! Should be Messi again to win it though. :blues: |

No way should Messi win it. He's had a poor year for his high standards, whereas the likes of Ronaldo, Ribery, Ibrahimovic have upped their games. Ribery may well nick it solely because of how well Bayern did last season, but I'm hoping its Ronaldo |
