But from what perry has just said that is not the case they didn't want BCFC to help until it was too late

I don't believe for one minute that the ladies turned down an offer from help from Blues. Why would they. Theres no reason too. Remember the men said they would help with the £70,000 last month, and now they have changed their minds to say they won't help.

I'd like to hear from the ladies if this is true or not, that they turned down their help.

As much as I thought. COuldn't see why the ladies would turn down help/support/monet etc

not being funny about this, and don't want to distract from all the good work Ian and some of the guys are doing on here,

but, girls, doesn't it make u mad that this is happening? the suited men at Blues, yes perry that includes YOU and the "blokes" running bc ladies seem to be in stalemate, doing what blokes do best - NOTHING -

where is KB when u need her? she passed my e mail on to PD to "deal with".

he is fobbing Ian Coley off with lame "we will do everything we can to help, u can raise money at st andrews, u can wear our badge.. blah blah" NOT GOOD ENOUGH

whatever has gone on between BCFC management and BC ladies "management" is water under bridge, but they should be sitting down at St Andrews sorting this out, no slagging each other off with their poncey titles at the end of their messages "commercial director" etc..

If Perry is worth his new "directorship" he should be able to raise sponsorship, if his team have been hard at work should be a doddle.... so there is a question there... as others have sourced a few "possibles" in days!

If Stuart from the ladies has any commercial nounce he should have seen this coming sooner, and we could have got the money together by now...

anyway, don't wnat to "join" in, lets bang some heads together and get these "directors" together with the directive, "stay in that room until sorted"...

come on Karren, u show them...

Sam,

I totally agree, and I'm not female.

It seems to me there's a bit of tit for tat going on between them,
I hope I'm wrong.

Perry saying we've looked at getting sponsorship.......
over the last few weeks --- Anyone who tries to raise sponsors,
from Formula 1 teams to the local village playgroup knows, it takes
time, and gentle persuasion, becasue you have to be in asking when
the company is looking to give it's support to something, otherwise
your pleas of help fall on deaf ears.

Why do all the clubs look at raising sponsors when they are still
playing Football, not just during the close season ? Because it takes
time, effort, and building relationships, which you can't do in a few
days.

I'm sure Karren Brady has a few contacts with some classy ladies
outfitters, Jewellers, Perfumiers, Shoe shops, etc. down to the local
ASDA. But that takes time. Surely BCFC could put up the surety
to keep BCFC ladies afloat, whilst everyone gets together, and
comes up with a way forward., to prevent this situation recurring.

The amounts you are looking to raise are not massive, and could
be raised by 1 fundraising match at St Andrews, or some other event.

I truely hope you can keep the team together and into the new season.

Best wishes,
Colin.
