i agree with you Glen on Naft, he's crap..... he had one good game against Chelsea... since then nothing. He looked awful... whether it was a friendly or not, he was made to look like an old man. mark my words come start of the season...you'll all be saying it |

What worries me is not the result, these games are often played out as part of the fitness regeime, but rather the negative comments on 1 player. This particular player has come back 2 weeks ago and this was his first run-out - yet its the end of the world. We've not even kicked a ball in anger and the boo boys are out in force, and determined to pick this seasons target. Last year we had the farce with Gronkjaer who was never allowed time to settle, this year it appears to be Nahfti Very sad, and a very sad time to be a Blues fan |

Must say i am actually embarrased at being a blues fan at the moment, I went to Norway and sat talking to Nafti, the guy has actually only been with the team for 2 weeks tomoz, he didnt actually start training until the monday, so the guy has actually had less than two weeks training. The abuse being hurled at him at the moment is nothing short of a joke, why do some fans persist on singling out certain new players and writing them off before they have chance to get fit, and prove themselves. If some of you had been inNorway and seen Kuqi in the Viking game you may have all been on his back as he looked IMO nothing short of a poor pub player in that game. But the game before and the Derby game he has scored, let all please remember this was just one performance, less than two weeks after he started his training. One thing in football, you can be the fittest athlete in the world but without matches you will never be MATCH fit. Now there, there is a HUGE difference. KRO |

Well said! I think some of you so called fans need to start exercising more just to see how hard it is to become match fit even to play football for a pub team. To criticise a player who has only just started training again after a break is well out of order! |

Think about this, if it was forssell that had that bad game or pennant would you want them out? Last season he played well when we needed him to. against the big guns and broke down there attacks before they even formed. hes a good defensive asset. |

i have an opinion and i'm telling you how i see it...fair play for disagreeing with me, but don't question my support for my Beloved Blues. If he proves me wrong i'll be straight on this board saying so. Personally i hope he does prove me wrong. |

Dont like to blow trumpets but i have played pro football for a north west team for 5 seasons, so i actually do know what is involved in Pre season and that running and running will not make you match fit for the little 5 yrd bursts of pace you need but also the mental fitness for reading the game. Also Blooboy nowhere in my post did i question your support, i know you are as passionate to the blues as most. I just merely stated i was embarrassed that the poor guy is not been given a fair shout |

i for one don't doubt your love for blues, blooboy, and you are as entitled to your opinion as everyone else is. i just feel at this stage of the pre-season its a little harsh to be passing such damning judgements when he's clearly unfit...he played well enough in enough games (considering he hadn't played for ages) last season for me to consider him worth a go. why form such strong opinions and then wait to be proved wrong? why not just be patient, and form an opinion after, say, 6 or so games when he and the rest are fit? seems sensible to me..... |

Peoople are entitled to an opionion as long as they back the player when he pulls on the shirt that is all that matters. In my opinion I did not see much in Nafti in the games he played last season. I am not convinced he is a better bet that the England U19 player we have just sold to WBA. Just my opinion of course and I hope he proves me wrong. |

fair enough...i'll sit back and wait to see if he does go on and prove that he can match the Premiership. i can accept the fitness issue, but i didn't see one pass last night from hom that left me thinking that he'll make it. Infact the best pass of the night came from a raking ball forward from Martin Taylor....on a sixpence across the field from right back to Pennant who had come across onto the left wing. |

I am not saying he is better or poorer, all i am stating is that he should be given a chance to prove himself before we judge and slate him. He is clearly unfit and needs to continue with his training, lets forget last season when he was there as he had to adjust to the lifestyle and style of play aswell as get fit last year. Let the player either earn his praise or hang himself over the first part of the season not some friendly at northampton |

We were crap last night. Give Nafti a chance though. He's did enough last season for me to be happy with his quality. Get off his back! |

I'm with friendly76 on this! I have been driven from my beloved seat on the Tilton by the morons that allegedly support our club but spend all their time slagging players off. I understand criticism and frustration but the bile and hatred aimed at some players in a Blues shirt is disgusting. Ok Nafti did not play well last night and yes I was there, he would know that, Bruce would know it too. He's entitled to a bad game as he gains match fitness. Listen to this very carefully, last season the FANS drove away an international player. I agree that Gronks did not perform as we had all hoped but to abuse him and boo him often in the first few minutes made me ashamed. We are all supposed to be on the same side. When we kick off to the final whistle we should support our team. At the end if we are not happy then feel free to voice your opinion, you've paid your money as you keep telling us. No player deliberately gives the ball away or misses a tackle. |

Fair play, I did not pick on individual fans. It seems fashionable these days to have huge expectations and to vent anger on any player deemed not up to scratch. Some fans should remember how far we have come in a short space of time. As for Andy Saville ........ I think against Kidderminster your booing could have been construed as towards any one of eleven and I don't think you can be criticised for that game! There are exceptions .... too many to mention! |

Exactly Steve. This is what really P's me off. Some players are above criticism and others are not if Blooboy had come on and said the exact same thing about Morrison or Taylor, would the reaction have been the same ?? i doubt it. |

Taylor to be fair was good in the right back Position. Clinton wasn't the best but he had nothing whatsoever to hit....for all the play we had, you'd have thought we'd have had clearer chances. Never Mind..... roll on Fulham |

The result means nothing just like the derby result did not. to start slagging the team off after one game is just typical. Are we all that stupid to think that this match means that much. What the game was for was to gain fittness and sharpness. players will play crap some will look world class but then the season starts it will be a diffrent story. But i do think we need a new CM as thats our only weak poistion imo. |
