Any way of doing this online? I can't get into Birmingham and there's no way I'd send it in the post after watching that Dispatches programme about the Royal Mail.

I know its easier said than done, but is there no way that blues could loan the money to the ladies team, so that some sort of fund raiser/ whip round could be sorted......i think plenty of people would love to help, but when it gets stuck on the news with 3 days to go or they're fu(ked is a bit late to do anythin.....KRO SOTV

A paypal account would be the best idea all round Ian. If this could be set up and then put on all Blues message boards as a "sticky" post i am sure we would get the response required. I am registered on pretty much all of the boards so if you get it sorted, I will post it on the other forums!

Great work mate.

There could be a message added to the front page of the Ladies Team web page, givig donation details and updates oin progress etc.
If they cannot afford the web fees, is there any way we (this board and it's superb admin team) could help them out a bit.
The link for those that don't have it bookmarked yet.

have been unable to get on for a day and a half,

but great progress by fans.

Thanks Ian !

I am taking £20.00 and my kids will do a fiver each...

had e mailed KB direct on tuesday, she thinks the money raising ideas are great, and passed my e mail onto P.D., I then got my mate Ian to get involved, he loves to hassle etc , so go for it.

I do feel Blues should help with real cash or guarantee.... we help them with real cash! up front season ticket money, they don't pay their players before the season starts, so they have 20,000 season ticket money in coffers at start of season....

we turned up to help Rover, we turn up for corporate stuff, and companies pay via our custom for sponsor ship, this should be a mutual thing.

The fans want the club to help, it is not as if we are demanding something that does not benefit the club.... it directly reflects on the club, and helping with REAL money has got to be worth £50k in publicity, SKY will cover it, RADIO five live WILL do an interview, RADIO WM will back, as will TV media , local papers....

u can't buy that publicity for £50k, and it will keep hundreds of MONEY PAYING fans happy!

come on BCFC board do it NOW, not tomorrow or monday when too late, get the call to Ian Coley, or Stuart Foster, or Steve Shipway, OR THE PRESS that you will step in and give "loan" at worse, or real money at best... PLEASE

We have supported u with petition for "money" making stadium plans, we have supported u with ticket sales, we support your sponsors....

we even supported the plea to pester supermarkets for not selling sunday sport!

that was hard for me to do, but i did it mr sullivan! for you business, as you stated in that plea to fans, This is a mutual community you have built, it has to be two way!

Firstly......a great big thank you to you all....the greatest fans in the world.

This is Steve Shipway, Chairman of Birmingham City Ladies FC.

Since Perry Deakin delivered the news that the club were not going to follow through the Letter of Intent that we had in June to take over all commercial responsibilities, including costs for our First and Second Teams, an incredible ground swell of interest has emerged from you, the True Blue fans.

As a result of great efforts by Ian Coley and Sam Jordan we are still negotiating with the Club to underwrite costs so that we can continue with the fantastic achievements of the last five years.

I don`t want to go into the politics and history at this stage. The task now is to keep the Womens Club alive and keep bringing magnificent PR to this great club of ours. Many of you have asked how you can donate by credit card so we have set up a temporary facility on the link below. You can also reach this site on www.weemow.com

We really need to show the club tangible evidence that the fans want this to happen and we want them to underwite this season`s costs against your interest and the other positive signs this week.

You will have read Sam Jordans post above...that`s what its all about.

Help us by donating and lobbying the club to support us in real terms.

Once again ......thank you

make a donation

As a point of interest I will be on Radio WM tomorrow morning on the Adrian Goldberg show and Karen Carney will be with me.

Karen does not arrive home until late tonight from the Under 19 European Championships in Hungary, but will be up early to help the cause.

Karen is devastated at the thought of the club going under. She has been a Bluenose all her life and been with us since eleven years old. Her dedication, like all our other internationals is immense.

Keep up the good work !!!!! :D

As a season ticket holder i'm disappointed that the club can't make some goodwill gesture to BC Ladies in the interim period to make sure the team are there at the season commencement.

I've made a token donation this afternoon and would urge everyone else to follow suit.

To those at the club who are more than happy to take my £1000+ every season and continue to squeeze my loyalty just that little bit further every year - How about standing by a fellow team that is proud to call its self Birmingham City and show your loyalty to the cause!

Next season it should be an option on your ST, £10 to BCFC ladies, even if only 25% took the option that would be half the required funding for a full season.
