Brucie is just trying to ensure Morrison gets a game. He stated that he wants Forssell to play the full 90 mins at QPR. Pre season won't be any good to him sitting on the bench will it.

he's not first choice striker and won't ever be, he's not good enough simple as that, the only reason he is still at the club is because Bruces won't admit that buying him was a mistake.

to all the usual suspects, sb said the first team squad would be split accross the 2 fixtures - he didn't say what the split would be, but its safe to assume he's right...

I get the feeling Morrison wants to go himself now anyway, it would do us a favour if he'd just put in a transfer request.

What concerns me most is that Morrison dosent have long left on his contract now and lets face it hes never going to sign a new one. The whole morrison costing 4.5m + AJ already leaves a sour taste in the mouth but it would be far worst if he endud up walking away on a bosman.

The time is right for all parties concerned for Morrison to move on, it hasnt worked for him at blues, he needs a fresh start now.

I for one say keep morrison, he linked up well with forssell and we dont really need to sell to raise cash....agree he shudnt be first choice but a large squad is essential nowadays...

I think we should sell morrison and try to replace him with Ellington who is still refusing to sign a contract with Wigan.

Sorry but how do you get that feeling??? and from what evidence does he want to leave???

This whole anti-morrison thing is pathetic..for a few people on this board no matter what the subject people have to have a pop at him...even if the subject is about celtic someone still manages to slag him off.

He is playing in the Posh game today like nafti and clapham who need 90 minutes...you need to see if heskey and forssell can link up as they are our 1st choice 2 so we need kuqi and morrsion to get 90 minutes in the other game.

For me i see him as being the 4th choice striker once we sign pandiani. This is a difficult position to fill at a club like ours as not many players will settle for maybe 10-15 games a season. I have met morrison a few times and he is alot different to how he comes across and seems to genuinely like playing for BCFC.

I do appreciate that in hindsight signing him and selling AJ wasnt great business however people forget the postion we were in when we got promoted. Aj was shite, we needed a guy with a good goalscoring record and Morrison had just got 20 goals. Despite what people think he has played a major part in our success so far and if you look back at the 03/04 video/dvd you will see how many goals he set up for mikael and how many assists he set up. But then i guess for his critics this will never be enough.

I know some people dont rate him but these constant cheap shots are pathetic

Ellington are you sure ??? he is no better than blake or Morrison. ffs get real we are supposed to be improving the squad not spending more money to keep it the same.

Got off hi fu*kin back and let him concentrate on his playing, Bluenose_68 is right he formed an integrel partnership with the forss in 03/04 and set up many of his goals, like the one at villa 2 2.

If we sign someone like Baros and Pandiani than sell him! No matter how his goal scoring record is just remember what Forssell said he helped him with the goals. We cant sell 2 strikers and dont bring 1 in i mean would you rather have. Forssell,Heskey and Morrison (what we have the moment) or Forssell and Heskey if we cant buy anyone? All im saying buy couple of strikers than sell him because he can set them up. Unless we want to put him in midfield :D

Im not over critical, because he does work hard as metioned previously, and striked up a good partnership with forssell, and more so heskey oozing confidence, up until Panidanis arrival. But he needs to score goals and after all thats what a striker is there to do, i seriously believe if he gets a decent run he could come good, but we are in the situation now where the front two are always going to be Heskey and Forssell so as a result he wont get the run he needs compared to when he always seems to score for Ireland.

One of the most dissapointing aspects of the Pandiani situation dragging on for so long is that we havent had the opportunity to experiment a bit with different strikeforces.

It would have been very beneficial to partner Forssell & Pandiani for a few pre-season games to see how they worked together compared to how the Forssell & Heskey pairing works.

definately, couldnt agree more and not just that but also mixing them up a bit kuqi and paniani, pandiani, morrison etc. this could prove critical if an injury or two is picked up adn Mr Bruce has to make a decision at say christmas on a pairing out of three strikers taht havent played together all season.

Morrison is a pre-maddonna and always will be !
