I didn't realise that Walter played for 2 teams???????

"Birmingham City look set to sign striker Walter Pandiani after finally agreeing a fee with Deportivo La Coruna.

According to reports in Spain, the Uruguayan hit-man will sign a three-year deal after both clubs agreed a fee of €5 million for the Real Mallorca player.

The terms of the deal will see Blues pay half of the fee this summer, with the rest of the money to be paid to Depor over the next 18 months.

The news brings an end to Steve Bruce's long pursuit of the 29-year-old following the striker's successful loan spell with the St Andrews outfit last season.

Bruce himself had stated he would complete a permanent move for Pandiani this week and all indications suggest the South American goalscorer will be in a Birmingham shirt for the new Premiership campaign.

Despite various disagreements with the Galician club, Pandiani says he has no hard feelings towards Depor.

"I want what is better for the club, although many times, they did treat me unjustly," Pandiani said. "

I think they meant "fromer Real Mallorca player" as he went there on loan for a few months a couple of years ago!

If not, then we have a very talented player who can be in 2 places at once!

There was an even better one in The Daily Mail last week about O'Dreary courting Baros in an attempt to persuade him to come to St Andrews :D Nice to see that even the Vile manager has seen the light!

He can play as both our strikers then.......

We can then have in effect 12 players per game and win the league! B)
