where are you all?

Here.

Bruce has got ''1m left'' after buying Pandiani, they've spent 1m on Nafti & Pennant, Forssell wasn't even 3m straight cash.

Bruce has spent maybe 5-6m. 1m left = 6-7m for transfers. 3 'quality/world-class players' would usually cost a minimum of 15m. They said they wanted 3 'world class/quality' players (even said they're actually close to signing them), when they don't have the money. That's Doug Ellis style dishonesty.

you'rbeginning to make yourself look more foolish than usual mate. so what you are saying is, pennant, forssell and pandiani are not world class - none of them?
you know nothing about footy if you think that.......

Press conference on Tuesday morning is not for Pandiani, although he has signed. It's a launch connected with sock tags, believe it or not. Anyone going to Kettering is likely to get to see him in action for Blues again.

we all knew this hours ago, evening mail picking up stuff late again, and yes as sam FIRST announced press conference is for sock garters, but WILL be used for pandiani annoucement aswell

we don't need the rag of the evening mail to inform us of news, they normally mess things up

i have sent u a pm, not sure if u got it...

how can someone who speaks the truth, and facts, be compared to media parasites that gossip and live off the blood of half truths..

this is my opinion, and does not represent in any way the opinions of anyone but ME, i do not mean to aim this comment at any ONE journalist who may think it is aimed at them, that would be purely co incidential and not what i intended by the above refference to my experience of the "profession", using that term loosly,

this post has had more than 4900 views, and 200 odd replies, a record?

maybe the evening mail should take note on how to get readers, "tell the truth"...

this is my opinion, and not that of anybody but me, it does not mean any particular evening mail, just my own experiences of a particular "rag" that states it is registered as a news paper

COME ON!!! are you watching grncoma and all you other non-believers, all you "the board are conning us" merchants, all the anti-bruce posters???
where are you all?

A game of poker proccy. As has been said many times on this board. If Walter has signed, lets see what the difference is between the offer, the selling price and the result.

Personally I did not want Bowyer or Bellamy. I wanted Walter and I am over the moon mate, if this has gone through. I do not have a problem with this board.
Just their bloody useless PR.

I apologise because i have not read all the posts in this thread and maybe i am totally wrong or maybe somebody as already mentioned it but i think the announcement in the morning will be a 3rd kit as we will need one for when we play Blackburn and West Brom away this season.

Like i said i haven't read all the posts incase somebody has mentioned this already.

Personally I did not want Bowyer or Bellamy.

I still cant understand how anyone can not want Bowyer, the guy was brilliant against Deportivo the other night, had we signed him he could have had a massive impact on our forthcoming season.

People kick up a fuss just because of things they read in the papers. <_<

yes well said, we have missed out on bowyer, and i can understand that SB must be mad!, and yes why are people so easily taken in by what they read in local rags?

these "journalists" just hype stuff up to get something in the paper, even before things are true. They know who they are.

just for the record i am a transexual, was raised as a male, but due to a complex intersex medical condition, A.I.S. I have had surgery to fully reassign my gender to female (5 yrs ago).

This is in reply to a few PM messages i have had who had noticed I had stated in a message on this thread "when i was a young boy..." et cetera.

I have explained this under a general chat thread, but have no prbs discussing this fully if people wish to PM me.

Birmingham City Football Club is delighted to today announce their official partnership with Sockatyes.

The Club has signed a six figure, two-year agreement that will see the Birmingham City squad wear the unique and innovative Sockatye; the only football accessory to be introduced in over 100 years, developed by the company of the same name

Sockatyes Ltd has been working with the Club for the last few months on the release and launch of this exciting introduction into football.

The Sockatye; a sock tie bearing the players name and squad number will be worn for the first time when Birmingham City play away at Fulham, Saturday 13th August 2005.

Karren Brady, Managing Director said: "As a Club that continually strives to be progressive and innovative in its business I am thrilled that Birmingham City will be the first in the Premiership to be wearing the Sockatyes.

"I am sure there will be many more Premier League teams adopting this new accessory"

Blues Manager, Steve Bruce said: "I think the Sockatyes look great and will prove to be popular with players and fans.

"I have been told that they help with the circulation of blood and can prevent injuries, so anything that can give the edge in the Premiership is a very good thing "

Pennant & Forssell aren't world class players, but they're 'quality'.

Pennant was already signed when Bruce said he wanted '3 quality players', he's got 2 of them now (Forssell & Pandiani).

Pandiani is way off world class. He's slow and doesn't have special skill. A world class forward is Henry, Adriano, Shevchenko, Rooney etc.
